AwfulArchdemon Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 GameKeysNow Download Komplete. Go through the little process of activating it on Steam [Games>Activate product on Steam], and your game will download...well, all 3 GB of it. You'll still need to go to your Steam Library and tick all the boxes under Install, and they will all start downloading. The price I paid was $24.99. Game is $59.99 on Steam, and if you didn't pre-order, Goro is another $5. You get Goro with this download. Save big! Get a Key! [insert advertisement sales gimmick here]!
SoundSpark Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 Hmm, random site I've never heard of or Steam where its a legit site and I know what I'm buying.
AwfulArchdemon Posted April 15, 2015 Author Posted April 15, 2015 https://youtu.be/Nmxkosqftmg All I know is, I bought that key (will be different for everyone, as each was purchased), and Steam recognized it, and gave me access to the full download. I have played for many hours, and I have Goro, as promised. Online play is working...sorta. No better or worse than anyone else at the moment. (some bad release issues...)
windpl Posted April 17, 2015 Posted April 17, 2015 And how it is working for you? I mean game in general. Mine is skipping frames after few minutes it skips less so but still. And after some time (30to 1h)game freeze totally. Btw how to fuck you do brutalities? It is after finish him or before? I unlocked some but I fail to execute them. Taking bugs aside game is very pleasant (although some fatality makes me say "ewww")
AwfulArchdemon Posted April 17, 2015 Author Posted April 17, 2015 The game runs like shit right now for most people. Needs a patch, as usual. Frames get crushed during fights. This happens online, too. Changing the PC video settings changes nothing about fps. Brutalities are very different now. It's no longer a 50-hit combo that leaves them in pieces. Now, you just overuse a move on purpose, and if they are about to die, that move will kill them in a comical fashion. Example: Johnny Cage - punch them in the balls a few times, and when they are about to die, punching their balls again will make their eyes bug out of their head, and they'll die. Raiden: Electrocute - using down, toward Y will electrocute them. Doing it a few times, and hitting them with that last will kill them with a Brutality. When I found out what a Brutality is in this game, I was quite disappointed. Should have named it something else.
AwfulArchdemon Posted April 21, 2015 Author Posted April 21, 2015 I don't even know how to measure the difficulty on this game's Story Mode . I'm playing on Hard, and getting absolutely devastated by everyone. I train with each person before I jump into Story mode, and I fully expect it to be difficult, by damn...I can't fucking believe how hard this damn game is on Story! I can beat people on the hardest difficulty in all other modes, and beat people fairly well online, but Story on Hard is out-of-this-world hard. It got to where I put the controller down and just started pressing buttons mindlessly. I am a fighting game pro, all my life, Certified! (won a few tournaments), but this...is virtually impossible. I made a couple vids over this shit, since I got bombarded by trolls on Steam the second I mentioned it. "It's perfectly beatable, you just can't keep jumping". "No one here is trolling. You just aren't very good. If you played against someone online who was actually good, you would gotten crushed". Decided to waste no more time on those people. Yay LL. Way more mature people here, ironically. http://www.4shared.com/video/hGv91GL6ce/Mortal_Kombat_X_04212015_-_014.html http://www.4shared.com/video/I1DcKYwwce/Mortal_Kombat_X_04212015_-_015.html That's them taking it easy on me. For like 20 fights each, I got slaughtered by these people, no matter how I tried to change up my style. I thought DOA was hard until I played this... Hitting a button seems to = hitting a button for the computer that counters your own move, simultaneously. Fun is gone, brah. Fun is gone. Like playing a computer at chess.
windpl Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 In story you play as several different characters where play style for each is totally different. I love to play as Cassie but when I switch to play as scorpion I'm totally lost. I know that you play as cassie in last missions but that was exemple ;p
kionee Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 I hate this style of story mode, like DOA5, it forces you to play with characters you don't like or want to play. Usually coincides, for me at least, with a really tough fight with the character you know the least about.
AwfulArchdemon Posted April 21, 2015 Author Posted April 21, 2015 And God help you if you try to jump. Go ahead and try to jump when fighting Kano on Hard in Story. Roll Roll Roll Roll Roll Roll Roll Roll Roll Roll Roll Roll Roll Roll! Dude needs to learn a new move. And yet, that fucking Roll is probably the most "effective" move in the whole game.
windpl Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 I'm finding goro fucking annoying. His spam meter is over 9000
AwfulArchdemon Posted April 22, 2015 Author Posted April 22, 2015 Here's a tip on Kano for those who don't know: Duck + Block until he Rolls. He has no answer for a duck. It's sad, really. Just uppercut him every time he pings off you during your block, and he will die. It does not matter what his difficulty level is at, but the higher, the better, because he rolls more on harder levels. Goro depends on his style. The fire style is a motherfucker, but his other 2 can be managed. It takes some getting used to, meaning, use him in training, and learn what moves matter in a fight, and constantly block those. I can't really give any expert advice on beating him yet, but fortunately for me, I have been able to beat him in most fights. Are you playing online windpl? Wanna make an online match of some sort? Does he game let people from different countries join? I haven't actually looked...
galhound Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 i never liked MK's input lag style, i mean i pressed the buttons exactly what it says but somehow it fails to do the input especially doing it after a certain combo or move. it seems you just have to press it faster/quicker even before the combo/chain finishes to make it work which is bogus i tell you! never had any prob chaining any input commands and taking it easy in tekken and doa. mk9 I already beaten tower and platinum the game in ps3 dunno if i can do it again in mkx though, i gave up after a few towers in it especially with those annoying modifiers.
AwfulArchdemon Posted April 22, 2015 Author Posted April 22, 2015 Your signature is PERFECT. ...on-topic: I agree. The controls are not always responsive when they should be. Sometimes you need to be quick, and ahead-of-time, and other times you need to wait until a move lands, and then press the next move. And everything in between. Miss the sexiness of MK9. I want physics and destructive clothing (sound familiar?).

But thanks to it i finally got rid of bloatware from newest nvidia drivers.
