Reaper121 Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 Been having some issues lately with animations not lining up properly, I've selected every compatibility option I could, evening height, etc., and still the animations are off, the standing animations come out the back, instead of remaining inside, standing bjs tend to go through the throat instead of the mouth, cowgirl doesn't bend down far enough to make contact most of the time, any ideas whats going on? Custom Race problem perhaps?
imacarl Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 the animations are usually always unalinged, hence why SL has a built in animation editor you edit with using K, L, : and ' by default. because of the fact that there IS no standardized body, Its common to have misalignment
SoundSpark Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 Read the SexLab FAQ page that will answer all if not most of the question that you might ask as well as an answer to your question. Below is the answer to your question from the FAQ page. Question: Animations don't line up!Answer: Some animations align better than others, and things can vary between characters, locations, installed body mods, and a thousand other possible reasons. SexLab does what it can to make the majority of animations work under the suggested body mods, skeleton, and requirements. Can't please everybody. In many cases simply spamming the Realign Actors hotkey, defaulted to the [ key, or the Rotate Scene hotkey, defaulted to the U key, will resolve the issue. If the alignment is still off by an incredible amount, as in they aren't anywhere near each other and just air humping in opposite directions of eachother; try various locations out, especially look for wide open and flat areas, see if the bad alignment continues there. Try different body mod or animation skeleton if you're able. Otherwise just do what you can with the provided alignment adjustment hotkeys.
iggypop1 Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 Hi Now i will ask the question i cant get a clear answer to maybe because its obvious to all but not for me. I can adjust fine up down left right ...and so on but how do i save the adjustments !!?????? Please can somebody explain that to me in a clear way ...? I been playing with SL for a long time, on and off , at some point, as far as i remember, with an early version of SL, i could save adjustments thanks
Ace_Loves Posted April 17, 2015 Posted April 17, 2015 SexLab saves your edits to a profile. you should be fine as long as you're on the same save file. I have a shorter character so adjusting the animations is taking some time initially but for most characters it is close enough. Is there a way I can edit the animations when my character is not involved? Is there some kind of targeting feature I missed?

So you say every time i make an adjustment( up/down , left/right keys) that adjustment is saved? Target the Animation, looking at it up close, and use N key lets you adjust a non PC animation
Reaper121 Posted April 22, 2015 Author Posted April 22, 2015 Yes, the animations are saved for that profile. you can also change the alignments for both of the characters involved, if needed. Thanks to everyone who answered.
