log explanation

i can provide a link to  where i posted the full details but the thread is too long and i kind of got my answer to it
so i ll try to summerize here:
after a 3 weeks pause i come back to skyrim and get CTD after 5-10mins of loading time( i can hear my horse and IG sounds few seconds before the crash)
a lot of things happened in between so i can't exactly know what went wrong but the mods are the same as before the CTD and the enb is the same ( realvision)

i enabled logs with which i have 0 experience and here is what i got:

full path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\
redirecting CreateDevice
initialising shader environment
unable to create depthStencilSurface (hr=-2005530516)

if anyone can explain what this means ^^
thanks in advance

edit: here is a link to where i explained what i ve tried and what i ve not tried, my ENB....

my bad
i should have mentionned that but its also the same load order i even run LOOT again to make sure its not the mods
the mods are cleaned, i ran TES5edit again and restored MO backup from when i was still playing normally

edit: to put it short the mods are exactly the same and in the same order

From what I gather you crash when trying to load an older save? also in order to reuse that save you'll need to find and re-install the missing mod. If you use Mod Organizer that would be easy by going under saves see if it says any missing Esp. like mine does in the red circle. Also here is the link for Loot if you don't have it already..   http://loot.github.io/

Maybe it's just a memory problem: Skyrim likes to CTD if it has to load too much at the beginning.

So, try to start your Skyrim, and on the main menu open the console and type "coc Elsweyr" (without quotes). This should open a small room, only walls, M'aiq and your PC as male nord. If this opens without CTD and if you can then load up your latest safe it's most probably a memory issue.

Do you use the SKSE memory patch and/or ENBoost? If no, do so. if yes, try to safe only within relatively small cells (inns, player homes, stores, sth like that). Or just stay with the workaround I've explained above.

If noneg of these methods work, it's not the memory and I have no idea.

weather its a new save or an old save it crashes actually

and even with vanilla skyrim the loading time is still abnormally long but it works

as i said i am using LOOT and the mods are exactly the same in the same load order

i also mentionned in the steam thread that its as if the game was running out of memory but i preffered to not mention it here to get an explanation of what the log file means before going into anymore details

the room works after another long loading screen but when reloading my previous save CTD (with long loading screen)

not to mention that the fps in elsweyr is ridiculously low in an empty room with m'aiq

wich confirms (i guess) the memory problem

for the memory patches realvision normally provide one and they clearly mentionned in the description to not put one

edit: i had the same enb last time i played and the load time was about 3mins at most to load anything and now it takes forever to load a single cat standing in an empty room

(the ini files maybe?)

Nope, the memory problem normally only causes total freezes or CTDs, low fps is more a signal of script overload/bloated saves or too high resolution of textures. Did you try script cleaner?

No, actually the patch is recommended ;) Here is a download of the skse.ini, that already includes the patch. If your hardware is quite powerful (>4GB RAM, >2GB VRAM), then you can raise the following entries:

[Memory]
DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB=1024
ScrapHeapSizeMB=384

I don't know your ini settings, but normally you shouldn't tweak too much of it. So, just tweak ONLY the lines that are mentioned explicitly within the mod descrition and leave the rest. And double check that no line appears twice!

So to update this

The main problem was the ENB, not just realvision but every single ENB

Without the ENB the 5-10mins of loading were still there my save loads normally (with that ridiculous fps) and then i got a frostfall pop-up saying that the latency is so high that frostfall will disable some effects

Coming back to "good cop or bad cop"'s post nope i havn't tried script cleaner

For the patch i noticed that i already added it but i think i lowered the values a little bit because i didn't know if the values were for the VRAM (kinda low 2Gb) or the RAM (12Gb)

Actually my whole GPU R9 M265x is not that great so i had to tweak the ini (mainly graphical settings) and find the proper balance using other tools like texture optimizer and such to get a descent ENB and it was all great

Actually without the ini tweaks and texture optimizer i had no problem to play the game without ENB with 40fps

After optimizing textures i pretty much got back my 50-55fps

Unless the new driver isn't optimized i think that my GPU should be able to handle the display

As a side note (its really important actually) i noticed that the skyrim launcher does not detect my other GPU its only displaying the built in Intel GPU

for my log thingy i got told that the lines means that the GPU wasn't enough performant to do what it had to do and so... i get the CTD that i was reffering to (wich also explains why the ENB makes the game crash and whyi get 5-10mins of loading) wich is directly linked to my previous comment's

as a side note (its really important actually) i noticed that the skyrim launcher does not detect my other GPU its only displaying the built in Intel GPU

for the solution i preffer avoiding disabling the other gpu in the BIOS and so i ll be waiting for other answers (or should i make another thread?)

@iggypop1:hey... well as i said ihave no experience with logs but looking at the log its definetely scripts not just 1 or 2 but many scripts
maybe some mods you recently disabled without following instructions or something like that
