billypnats Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 Hi people, I took hair mesh from "rage" (vehemence hair) and fitted it onto vanilla headmesh, but I think all the headmesh out there should work, except maybe x117. READ PLEASE: I took the hairmesh included as a mask from this mod http://www.loverslab.com/showthread.php?tid=4842 (you need this) took out the creepy mask and left the hair behind, then resized it in 3dsmax. I hope someone will actually fit this onto the headmesh, all I did was painstakingly scaled and translated the mesh until it looks like it fits in skyrim...also theres no color option so its blonde no matter wat. All credits to DevCat (vindictus developers) and kudos to whoever ported this over. The file name is yuna.nif but it really has nothing to do with the FF mod found here, I was just too lazy to import with CK so I replaced it. You could either rename this or add it in CK yourself. NOTE: If the mesh shows up but the texture is all weird then you might have to extract the heroes.bsa into the data folder. K Ciao!
Riceball Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 I tested this and I love it! I really wish that it is a proper hair mod though. Thank you so much billypnats for making it useable anyway.
billypnats Posted March 13, 2012 Author Posted March 13, 2012 Planning to make more? Sorry my "skills" could only take me so far xD maybe Ill pick up 3dsmax or blender once reallife stuff is no longer of concern.
Riceball Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Hello, what's the exact name in the bsa file of the texture used for the hair?
billypnats Posted March 14, 2012 Author Posted March 14, 2012 i believe its heroes.bsa, I downloaded an older version which did not have its contents packed into a bsa
Riceball Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 i believe its heroes.bsa' date=' I downloaded an older version which did not have its contents packed into a bsa [/quote'] What I mean about that is I wanted to use the hair without using the herose.esp. I should probably try unpacking it, maybe it will work without any need for activations. I wanted to keep it as a replacer. EDIT: Nevermind, I found the texture.
