Can this be a mod conflict?

So after playing for a few hours, I went into the companions questline finally and reached the part where Farkas turns into a werewolf, problem is, he turns really tiny (I mean miniscule, even setscale 10 makes him about knee height). I tested any other NPCs that could transform and found the same result. My character doesn't have this problem. So I was wondering if this was a mod conflict?

the only two mods I have that change werewolves are Moonlight Tales and S.A.M.
