alienwarfighter Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 im running alot of mods alot! so i cant test them all : ( i cant tell which mod is slowing down the game making it almost unplayable by its drop of performance so is there a site or a forum that show case every mod and tells you which mod thats decreasing performance?
Arthacs Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 ENB, SMIM and High res texture mods can be hard on your fps.
Storms of Superior Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 Mods that add many NPCs to the game. Over abundance of follower mods. Script heavy mods.
Veladarius Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 Check your anti-alias settings, many enb's set it at x16.
trpd Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 Conflicts, errors are easy way to lose fps. Check your gpu/cpu loads , if they are not caped while you suffer fps issues then there are some mod conflicts. Generally each "beauty" mod will chew on performance a bit, ENB is sure first on list when set to "everything max". Then mods that more stuff into game (more grass, more objects) , mods that give higher poly count to things and finally high resolutions textures that maybe cause you to run out of vram.
rpgplayer4life Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 Floral/grass and tree mods, ENBs, mods like Interesting npcs, bandits of skyrim, and warzones that add large groups of npcs. Also if your scripts are conflicting in gam eit can kill performance. Modding isnt cut and dry when your adding more than a few mods. You have to be careful, add a few at a time and test if your uncertain. Just tossing in 150 mds and expectin the game to run isnt logical. Do your research, youtube has thousands of tutorial type videos out there to teach you.
