Setekh Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 View File Vie Casual Clothes by vie101010 2.0 -------------------------------  Ancient and long-lost mod with a few casual and formal outfits for males. Had this on my HDD for what seems like years.  I'm always seeing it requested so I decided to fix up some of the errors within the mod and make my fixes available since vie's site no longer has the mod and the original has a few bad meshes.    -Cleaned up the esp, all pieces can still be found in Dragonsreach just like in the original version of the mod. -Added specular to formal shoes. -Removed erroneous glow shader from casual shirt and jeans. -Corrected error in normalmap for Formal Shoes.  All items renamed for clarity: -"Vie Casual Clothes" -"Vie Formal Suit" -"Vie Leisure Suit" -"Vie Mainguy Outfit" -"Vie Casual Shoes" -"Vie Formal Shoes"  If you don't want to climb up to Dragonsreach you can just type 'help vie' in the console and it should return all the form ID's   All original content belongs to vie101010 Restoration efforts and fixes by me.   -------------------------------   If you have the old version of this mod, remove it before you install this one. hashigicc9 Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 Behold the rebirth of an awesome mod, by another awesome modder!Â
Ruby Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 Amazing !! thank you for your efforts I love playing with male characters, but i always waste hours sifting through 30 female clothes mods to find one decent male attire I really appreciate that you decided to share what you found through out the internet
Apple5552 Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 can you post a screenshot where in dragonreach would you originally find it, Â or can you post the id codes cause i only get the Id's for mainguy outfit and leisure suit.

The chest with the items is in Dragonsreach right by the main entrance, turn left and see the chest against the wall in the corner.   I personally don't like any worldspace edits in my mods, especially those that don't need them. However, this chest was present in Vie's original version and I want to keep from changing it too much, so I left it in.  --------------------------------  The reason you're only getting the console codes for those 2 pieces is because you didn't press 'pageup' on your keyboard to scroll up and see the rest. ;)  Regardless, here's the complete list:  Vie Formal Suit - XX000D62 Vie Mainguy Shoes - XX000D63 Vie Casual Clothes - XX000D66 Vie Formal Shoes - XX000D68 Vie Casual Shoes - XX000D6A Vie Leisure Suit - XX000D6B Vie Mainghuy Outfit - XX0012D1
ZombieJen Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 Awesome! But I seem to have a small issue. Whenever I try to equip anything from this mod it shows that everything is equipped but my character stays naked :/ No problem with other mods tho.
Guest Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 I noticed an issue where if I equipped the Formal Shoes, my character's shins would be invisible. I think that's because the Formal Shoes are...modeled on/connected to a boot mesh instead of a shoe mesh, if that makes sense. I've also noticed that the underside of the shoes flash white when running sometimes, but I don't know if it's my ENB or not. Â @ZombieJen Sounds like the textures aren't showing up. Have you tried reinstalling or moving it last in your load order? Â Also, many thanks to Setekh for restoring this - perfect for my assassin.
ZombieJen Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 @shortchange I reinstalled it around 5 times and its always last in load order. No use.

Those shoes probably have slot 37 and 38 referenced in the ARMA. It's 3am, I'll have a look tomorrow.

Ok, The reason why the actual foot mesh is not visible is because the shoes don't have one included in the nif. Reason for this is because the shoes themselves are such an odd shape that the foot would clip through them, also, considering that these pieces of footwear were only designed to go with the formal suits and casual clothes (and the trousers of those come all the way down to the ground) the foot would be covered up and Vie101010 obviously saw no reason to add the foot mesh in since it would be covered anyway.  I had a go at adding in the default and FS/SOS malefoot_0 mesh. I had some success with the casual shoes and those files can be found attached below. casshoes_0.nifcasshoes_1.nif Put these in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\Data\meshes\vie black armory\suit and overwrite.  The formal shoes are not possible at all though, the shoes themselves would need to be edited in blender or 3DS in order to accommodate the foot mesh and that's not something I have either the time or patience for.
Setekh Posted April 22, 2015 Author Posted April 22, 2015 Nope, typical dunmer. Â Well, that makes sense. Looks like I forgot to add the darkelfrace entry to most of the clothes. Â I'll upload a fix now. Â -------------- Â Edit: New version uploaded, should be ok for Dunmer now.
Setekh Posted April 28, 2015 Author Posted April 28, 2015 It worked! Thank you  Great to hear, thanks.
Magicbunnyrabbit Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 Um Just one question, How come the casual one looks very dark on me its like the shirt is black as it is. i have no light mods and enbs installed.
Magicbunnyrabbit Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 Hi I got an issue or idk.. the Casual clothes looks very dark on my character unlike in your screenshot you can perfectly see the clothes. D:
DimSim Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Tell me what are the requirements for the body? I have the SOS-body. The problem with Vie Mainghuy Outfit. With a weight of 0, the hands is good, but in the neck break. With a weight of 100, the neck is good, but in the hands break. Other clothing from this mod is ok.
TotalMentalCase Posted June 13, 2016 Posted June 13, 2016 Yum! These outfits are sexy delicious. Vilkas and Farkas are so gonna rock these. Thank You Sooooo Much for bringing them back!!!

This is a problem with the original mesh by Vie, I'll have a look and see if I can do anything with it. It might need some Blender work. The original mod is ancient and as such is based on the Vanilla body, mods like SOS weren't even conceived back then.  Also, there is no weight slider support, Vie originally created the outfits to work at weight 0 only. I could add weight slider support but that would take up time that I don't really have right now, I would like to add it at some point in the future though.

DoubleCyclone Posted June 19, 2019 Posted June 19, 2019 This is really good, but it is all marked as stolen.
