There are loads of websites that offer free image hosting; if the nexus doesn't want copyrighted material there, they're allowed to pull them. Plus it's kinda unfair to the less computer literate people who always inevitably end up asking "wut mod is taht" or "PM me a link to that mod plz". Just an aside: I'm not a nexus fanboy, I have my own reasons to dislike the site.

It's really annoying' date=' Nexus and their policy. When it's come to copyright, there is a licensed Fate/stay night anime in West. Shouldn't it be enough reason to take down my other pic? If they want to talk about Copyright and whatnot at least do it properly, not like half-assed attempt like this. And I take another one I'm just ranting, but thank you for listening.

Hey, you do realize that your defense of the Nexus applies also to your reason, right, which, btw, I agree with. People should be able to run their own business however they see fit, so long as we also allow them to succeed or fail on their own (not that I'm expecting any bailouts for Nexus or even if they'll need any).

[/quote'] That isn't me in the screenshot, I go by the name rs4915 over on the nexus. I happened upon this discussion where this person (badkiller2) was simply talking about piracy and he was banned. I found it so outrageous that I had to save it. I understand pulling screenshots of mods that possibly violate copyright, but an outright ban for mentioning it in a discussion? That's my reason for disliking them.

So, if you got banned while at a coffee shop, then anyone at that cafe would be blocked. Also, consider all the people who use multiple devices and are mobile, maybe at work, then home, then on the go. More likely a ban on accounts. This would help keep Nexus numbers high, too, without hurting business. Me, I accepted my ban without trying to start a new account. However, I did clear my browser cache for the Nexus so that I can follow links or read whatever might need reading without being redirected to my banned status page.

I actually think some of them spend there whole day, looking for anything they can snitch to the Management about, I suppose they hope to get scratched behind the ears for doing this, and maybe they will get to ( lie ) down by the fire place to night at there feet. [/quote'] XD i bet his avatar was chosen cause of advent children and not the original game, lol also hate it when people mix things up like i remember on the nexus someone uploaded the gundam armors without permission and called them transformers xD, even worse was in one of the comments posted on the upload was "that's not transformers that's ironman" that made me lose it

I had those gundam mods, except only the helmet work. It's a replacer for imperial armor. Really wacky when you got chased by a giant Gundam Unicorn head. I deleted it though, they only crash my game afterwards.
