Permadeath Playthrough with Bondage Mods?(newbie question)

Hi,

 

So I'm new to Skyrim on PC. I played it a couple years ago on the xbox, but this is my first modded game, and I'm more than a little stoked.

 

I've just gone through the STEP guide and downloaded most of the mods listed, along with soem others using Mod Organizer, and now I'm more or less ready to go.

 

What I've had in mind to do is what I'd call a 'permadeath' playthrough, such that if my character dies, that's it and I have to start all over. I've played a lot of RPGs, and now I'm looking to experiment with a more 'hardcore' style. The caveat being that if I get into a sticky situation and think I'm about to die, I want a failsafe that keeps the game going if I can do it in time, even if it comes at a steep cost.

 

I've been browsing the various mods on here, and firstly I want to say to all the modders here, you're awesome. there's so much great stuff on here. Secondly, I'm hoping to set up Sanguine's Debauchery and Submit/Defeat along with some other stuff to be the above mentioned failsafe so slavery/captivity is a desperate option. I also threw in the Cursed Loot and stuff because it seemed fun.

 

So here's my thing: I love bondage but not a fan of rape stuff. I'm looking for a setup where my character is taken captive if I surrender, but there's not a crazy amount of my character being raped(sometimes is fine, but kept to a minimum). I was thinking some of that is customizable in hte MCM menus. I'll look into it.

 

In short, I play a normal game, if I screw up and have a few HP left with five assholes ready to pounce on me, I yell 'I surrender' *extends wrists to be cuffed*, and then I can play on, even if as a lowly captive

 

So finally at long last here's my question(s), have you ever done a permadeath style playthrough of Skyrim, particularly using mods like SD and Submit? And based on what I'm aiming for, do any mods come to mind to maximize bondage content while minimizing rape content?

 

No need to go to any trouble, just looking for quick thoughts. And thanks!

cursed loot and submits (unchecking the rape) are the best bets for it.

btw save often not for the death itself, but for the bugs leaving you to die ruining your permadeath run.

I play a fairly similar style and use Defeat with Death Alternative and the Captured addon

For bondage stuff, there is the Devious Skyrim list as resource.

I would suggest maybe Live a Deviant Life (for some fun on a new start). If you don't want to install Alternate Start, take Skyrim Bound instead.

Devious Captures, needs Defeat, you'll get raped once you're defeated and then put into some DD gear.

Maybe For The Masses for "optical purposes".

Helpless is mainly for rape, so suits not really your taste.

SD+ surely, you'll be fucked sometims, but it depends on your behavior.

And of course the Captured Dreams Shop. So you can choose your outfit yourself, or sell something you don't like (eg I don't like the white equipments of DDx )

 

Else, I don't know, if you like bondage but no rape, I would suggest to stay with Cursed Loot and take it Solicitation plugin instead of installing an additional whoring mod (if you want this, at least whoring is more consensual than rape ^^). The CD sloicitation offers a chance to be put into gear before the fun begins ...

 

And lastly, Death Alternative for a general Death Overhaul. Not really a Permadeath, but at least the death gets some consequences now. Some more, if you take some plugins like Defeat from this site ...

Don't forget to turn off the Slut Collar in Cursed Loot if you don't want to spend an afternoon screwing everyone you try to talk to. xD

 

As for mods;

Use something like Revealing Armors for npcs with DD - For the Masses (FtM) and Hydra's Slavegirls for maximum effect.

Sexlab Solutions adds a twist to vanilla quests and SexLab Romance adds consensual, non-solicited sex.

Xaz's Prison Overhaul... Crime needs punishment. It gives you a reason to stay on straight and narrow... or stray from it...

And finally, The Devious Manual. This mod adds a nice intro into DD as a whole and will have you running all over skyrim before long.

 

FtM and CL can be made to provide plenty of 'free' stuff btw...

@guyver I thought about that before, assuming at least the occasional bug could be an issue. Your game being ended because of a glitch death hardly seems fair : /

@Mister X I'll go through this stuff. I've installed some of it already, including Death Alternative since I thought that some othe rmods run through it, but I'll have a look at the MCM menus to see if death is stil possible with DA. The idea is to make it so death can still happen, but avoided if I can surrender before the guy brings the axe down on my head the last time

 

@Thermius haven't heard of most of these. Romance sounds like a fun addition. After looking up Prison Overhaul I'm thinking of doing a thief character. Parallel playthroughs? Possibly
