Kendo 2 Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 I've made remodels of the Thieves Guild boots and they work as intended with the base spell set to magnitude 4.75. I did that in the CK, not the High Heels MCM in game. The problem is I cannot get the vanilla enchantments already attached to the boots to function. I can get the scripted High Heel effect to work OR the default enchantments, not both. I have tried attaching the vanilla enchantment effect to the High Heels spell (High Heel Effect and Sneak, for instance) and the Sneak does not apply. I have tried attaching the High Heels effect to the vanilla enchantment and that doesn't work either. Does anyone know how to get enchanted boots to work with the High Heels Effect?
badbat111 Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 you could have the enchantment if its something like blocking skill in a diffrent pair of boots then take your custom boots to the table to enchant them with the other boots but itll dismantle the other pair i always thought it was odd how devices gear cant be dechanted take the slave heels for example if only it could be dechanted to put on other shoes to prevent allies equipping random bloody clothes when your using them as a packmule
Kendo 2 Posted March 5, 2015 Author Posted March 5, 2015 Yeah there are all sorts of ways around it, but that doesn't help for something like replacers. I can enchant and improve the boots like any other set of foot wear in the game. The problem is getting vanilla enchantments assigned in the CK to work with the High Heels effect on the same pair of boots. There has to be a way to do it. I just don't know what it is.
benyanoo Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 You make a new enchantment (Objects/Enchantments) with one of the High Heels effects and any other effects you want, then attach that enchantment to the boots. I was able to make a HDT boot with sneak and muffle this way.
