monsta88 Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 I am working on the Smithing/Enchanting/Alchemy trio. I'm using the unofficial patches, so I'm not exploiting. I've already finished Smithing and Enchanting and made a good progress on Alchemy. Around halfway in alchemy I made some potions for Smithing and Enchanting. The best I have from that batch is a +45% Enchanting potion. Now I reached 100 in Alchemy and using the same Alchemy outfit, same resources and the best I can do is +36% Enchanting. I don't know what happened. Any ideas?

I play this game for a long while and I had the Unofficial patches from start, at the start of my load order (each esp after the respective esm). Whenever I install or remove a mod, I use LOOT. Or are there other mods which can have effect on the Alchemy? Here is my load order, is there anything unusual here? My character's alchemy level is 105 and the potion effect is only 9% if unbuffed. I'm guessing you are using gear with Fortify Alchemy when you craft potions? You may want to double-check if you're missing some of the gear you were using previously.

You may want to double-check if you're missing some of the gear you were using previously. My unbuffed is 15%, at 101 Alchemy, I indeed have a full set of enchanted Fortify alchemy outfit. I checked the outfit, I am actually using more now than earlier, I found 1 more item I could enchant for Fortify Alchemy.

Maybe I have a mod that reduces the effects, though no idea what that would be.
