Rooker Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 I had an NPC following me as part of a quest, when another NPC walked up to do their random chatter. Then another NPC did it. Then a minute later, another NPC did it. The guy following me stopped every time and just sat there chattering away. Is there some way to interrupt this when it happens and force the NPC to continue following me? I opened the console and tried evp and resurrect 1 and he still wouldn't budge. I ran halfway across the cell, then moved him to me in the console and he still just stood there and I was ready to throw something at the monitor by this point. I finally just killed the other NPC with the console and THAT got my guy moving, but there has to be some other way, surely?
movomo Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 You can enable the 'skip fallout behavior' in the AI package, if you don't mind some CS work. If not your best bet is to use companion mod. MCS companion has that option.
Rooker Posted March 1, 2015 Author Posted March 1, 2015 I was hoping for something simple I could do in the console. I do have MCS but I worry adding an NPC while on a quest might screw up their quest package and glitch the quest. If it happens again, I'll try it and hope for the best.
avebrave Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 The easiest way to do this without CS or console is to start talking with the not following NPC, this will interrupt the conversation and the following NPC will follow again. Cheers.
