Rynnhelded
Hello to all the community ! It has been a few days now that I am struggling with the mods I downloaded to make them all works together. I would not mind a little help from you ! I know this kind of question have been asked a lot but I read lots of topics and still, I can't make my mods to work as I would like to... Sorry if the post is a bit long, I am trying to explain the installation procedure as clearly as possible I use Nexus Mod Manager at the latest version and all the mods are also at the latest one (downloaded from Nexus site). Below is the list of the mods I downloaded : Environmental - Birds of Skyrim - Birds of Skyrim 065_BSA archive - Eternal Bunny Pet - Rabbit - Eternal Bunny Pet - Original - Birds and Flocks - Birds and Flocks - Quality SnowFlakes HD V2 - Quality SnowFlakes V2 - Real Clouds - Real Clouds Version 2_0 - Enhanced Lights and FX - Serious HD Retexture Skyrim - Serious hd retexture Skyrim LANDSCAPE 2K 3.0 beta Clothes & armors - Chevaleresse Armor for UNP by Yurica - yurica_chevaleresse armor v2.0 - SPOA Silver Knight Armor - FEMALE VERSION - - SPOA Silver Knight Armor 4K 1_03 -FEMALE VERSION- - SPOA Silver Knight Shield - SPOA Shield 4K ULTRA - Improved NPC Clothing - High Res - Improved NPC Clothing_1_8_1_MORE_DIRT - Noble Wedding Dress E55 - Noble Wedding Dress V2_2 Standalone Body parts - univision Face - univision Face for CBBE - ApachiiSkyHair - ApachiiSkyHair_v_1_6_Full - ApachiiSkyHair natural Retexture - ApachiiSkyHair a NATURAL retexture - UPDATE - Female Hairstyles with Physics - HDT Female Hairstyles v1.1 - numenume Hair - numenume Hair sono6 - Cherry's Eyes - Cherry's Eyes - The Eyes Of Beauty - The Eyes Of Beauty PLAYER - Eye Normal Map Fix - No Contact Lens Version - Invisibility and Underwater Eyes Mesh Fix - EyesNifFix v1_1 - SG Female Eyebrows - SG Female Eyebrows - True Brows - TRUE BROWS - NEWEST VERSION - DOWNLOAD THIS VERSION - Seductive Lips HD - Seductive Lips HD Those three categories are not a problem, they install just fine with no conflict or anything. So it is good and they are the first I install on a "fresh mod installation". But when I go for the body modifications (body replacer, skeleton, animations...) then it mess up. Mainly, I would like to install UNP Blessed with all the sliders working and a set of XP32 animations (but not all of them). But generally, the breast slider seems not working and I am wondering if it isn't because of some file overwriting. I tried to follow this guide (http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=227161271) So this is what I have : Other - SKSE (last version) - ShowRaceMenu Precache Killer - ShowRaceMenu PreCacheKiller 1_3 - SkyUI - Enhanced Character Edit - No Prisoners Outift - No outfit during first character creation - No Prisoners Outfit v1-0 Body modifications - 【Skeleton】XP32 Maximum Skeleton Extended - Realistic Ragdolls and Force - HDT Physics Extensions - HDT Physics Extensions - HDT Breast And Butt Physics - TBBP BBP Supported - Standard - With collision - HDT HighHeels System - hdtHighHeel_beta0_5 - UNP BLESSED BODY- UNPB REDUX PROJECT - UNPB Body NMM Installer v2-5-2 FIX - SG Female Textures Renewal - SG Textures Renewal UNP Animations - Fores New Idles in Skyrim - FNIS - FNIS Behavior V5_2 -- ALWAYS necessary - XP32 New Animation Package - Nexus Exclusive - New Animation pack - NMM Installer - v2013-1-8 There are lots of files that overwrite each other, skeleton, 0_master, etc... And I'm not sure in which order I should install the mods. For now, I am doing in this order : First, I install : - SKSE - FNIS - Realistic Ragdoll and Force - ShowRaceMenu precacheKiller - SkyUI - HDT Physics Extension - HDT High heel systems (these two are require for IdontRememberWhichMod, I have crash if I do not install them) Then : XP32 animations with the following options * feminine rush * momo dash less slanted * (is VHH walk nice ? I find it to be too exagerated) * momo acrobatic forward only * feminine bow running * one hand weapon combo pack * new animations for magic cast (full pack) --> Overwriting 0_master.hklx (installed by FNIS) Then : 【Skeleton】XP32 Maximum Skeleton Extended with * no special mod! (for First person mod) * all choices by default (no change) * For Havok, should I choose : - Skeleton Rig Map ? - Skeleton Rig Map (BBP) ? - Skeleton Rig Map (CBE) ? - Skeleton Rig Map (BBP)(CBE) ? - Skeleton Rig Map (XPMS)(FALLBACK) ? --> Ask to overwrite skeleton_femalde.hkx (from XP32 animation pack) : Yes ? --> Ask to overwrite skeleton.nif (from Realistic ragdoll and force) : Yes ? --> Ask to overwrite skeleton_female.nif (from Realistic ragdoll and force) : Yes ? --> Ask to overwrite skeletonbeast.nif (from Realistic ragdoll and force) : Yes ? --> Ask to overwrite skeletonbeast_female.nif (from Realistic ragdoll and force) : Yes ? And then : UNP Blessed body UNPB REDUX with the following options : * T/BBP or bouncing * NSFW or nude * Should I choose [bBP Body] or [TBBP Body] ? * I have my own skeleton! * Vanilla animations for walk with bounce added * [Natural breast motion by darkangel1265] or [regular breast motion by xp32] ? Seems not really important * Default direction for animation (not 360) -> Vanilla Natural BBP 180 * BBP idle animations ? --> Ask to overwrite mt_(run/sprint)forward(left/right/etc).hkx (from XP32 animation) : I suppose no ? Finally, I generate FNIS for users: * GENDER specific animations * Skeleton arm fix * XP32 new animation for running with bow * XP32 new animation for 1H weapon * XP32 momo acrobatic jump I don't know if "HDT Breast and butt physics" is necessary or not. I leave it not installed for now. I even don't know when I should install it and what to overwrite. And as I said before, on the character creation screen, I have lots of new sliders (and more if I choose "ECE sliders" options in ECE installation) but the breast slider do not work. I tried using "No Prisoners Outift - No outfit during first character creation - No Prisoners Outfit v1-0" to be sure there are no change but this mod seems to do not work : my character is still fully clothed at the creation step. Yet I looked with attention and moving the slider seems completely ineffective. Am I installing something wrong ? Also, if you have any recommendation for some mods I should (not) use, I would gladly hear them I just want to have a nice full customizable character at the creation screen, some nice textures and elegant animations. Thanks a lot ! Link to comment
gvman3670
Sorry. I use Mod Organizer so it doesn't matter what order I load them in. I can't break it and I can acheive "virtual" overwrites (over reads is more like it actually) just by dragging and dropping in a list. If you haven't already started installing them I'd make the switch now so you can enjoy the flexibility it offers. Link to comment
Mister X
As basic rule: SKSE first, XPMSE last, directly before generic stuff (FNIS output, bashed patch, ..). The rest, idk. Using MO, too, so if I did something wrong I simply rearrange it. Link to comment
Rynnhelded
Thanks, I am assuming you are talking about this for Mod Organizer ?: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/1334/? I will take a look and give it a try and tell you if it works ! Link to comment
Mister X
Yep. The only thing is, for MO you once have to completely uninstall, wipe and reinstall Skyrim. How to do this, is described in this Reset Tutorial. After this: install Skyrim, install Mod Organizer, plug in Loot, Wrye Bash and TES 5 Edit and then build up your profile. The first start is the hardest, but there are several tutorials, video and text, that describe how to handle MO. And it's definitely worth the work! Link to comment
Rynnhelded
Hi Mister X ! Indeed, when modding, the first start is really hard. My sisters are making fun of me because it has been a few days now that I installed the game and I still haven't do anything but the game tutorial and the character creation... Again and again. They also said it is useless to make a pretty character because the game is mainly first person x] I uninstalled all mods from Nexus Mod Manager and reinstalled them all with Mod organizer. It is indeed very useful and its tutorial is very clear ! But I did not do a fresh reset. I've created my character but I did not try every thing so I am not sure all mods are working. It seems at first sight but I should play more to tell. I guess it is still more recommended to completely uninstall everything and start from a fresh Vanilla version ? Well it could be the occasion to make some vanilla backup too and to give a try to other mods or things (ENB ?) ! Thanks for the Reset tutorial, I will follow it. Could you still give me your opinion on my mods loading order and recommend me others if you have some favorites for your character creation or to enhance the visual (I read on your link that ENB adds lots of details at the cost of some FPS) ? I have some non-MO mods I don't know what they are. I guess it is because of the non fresh install. Maybe I would be able to definitively start a game before next week ! Link to comment
Rynnhelded
Hiiii again ! I revert my Skyrim game to a vanilla state, made backup, reinstalled SKSE, Mod Organizer, plugged in LOOT, TES5Edit and Wrye Bash. I think it is a good start. I will now try to add ENB with a ENB preset, activate the mods and try to make them work all together ! Still I am open to any suggestion as I said in my previous post. Btw, the non-MO mods disappeared after the clean reinstall. Link to comment
Mister X
I could show you my loadorder, but I think it would be a bit too long xD MO is a bit tricky. To set it up properly, I would say, follow STEP at least to the end of step 2.C. 2.D recommended, complete STEP Core is nice. IMPORTANT: Read the detailed instructions carefully BEFORE downloading. The Non-MO mods are those, that Mod Organizer found in your original /Skyrim folder. Maybe, they got installed via Steam Workshop, maybe manually either way, MO has no control over them -> BAD, those mods are the reason for a vanilla reset. For Character Creation, take RaceMenu. ECE is outdated and probably isn't WIP anymore, and RaceMenu v3 also supports CharGen and shape deiting. So, create your Char, export the slider and headshape and backup those files. Then you can play around with other mods and will have your char back with two clicks in a new save. At the end is to say: always place your skeleton at the end of the list, directly above generic outputs (eg Bashed Patch) and try to keep a basic grouping / sectioning within your modlist, else you won't have fun very long. I have a small excerpt of my list: Link to comment

I have a question. Maybe I missed something in your load order or plugin list, but why do you have Racemenu unchecked in your asset list but list ShowRacemenu Cache Killer in your plugins on the right? Just my humble opinion, but even if I tried to go back to basic, vanilla Skyrim I don't think I'd ever deactivate my Racemenu. Maybe that's because I like changing hair styles too much, but I consider it an essential basic tool that should have been included in the original game. Link to comment
Rynnhelded
It is because a mod (one for hair) was requiring ShowRacemenu cache killer, but not explicitly race menu mod itself. And at the moment I took the screen, I hesitated between race menu and ECE. But now I reverted to a vanilla game, I will follow the STEP tutorial, pick lots of recommended mods from there and I will follow Mister X and your advice and go definitely for race menu instead of ECE. I'll try this evening and I'll tell you Link to comment
Mister X
Apachii Sky Hair just recommends the PreCache Killer, so that slow PCs don't CTD when first trying to showracemenu. Due to a problem with Skyrim memory mechanics, it tries to load all resources at once, which definitly is going to be too much on slow PCs. Link to comment
Rynnhelded
Mhhh Mister X ? How did you created you custom folders in MO ? I right-clicked everywhere but found nothing accurate enough to do something like this. Link to comment
Mister X
I've directly put some empty folders into the mod installation folder of MO. Then reload the list in MO et voila: at the bottom of the list will appear a gray mod Link to comment
Rynnhelded
Hi ! I completed the whole STEP tutorial. I changed some mods to suit to my tastes and made some changes to get better performances. It is now working fine and beautifully! Thanks all for the advices! I'm now trying to adapt an armor mod to my character body but it's another subject Good game to all! Link to comment
