Storms of Superior
Yesterday, this screenshot tutorial was released on the Nexus, but I'm not too sure I understand the English that was used to explain it, or if it is even detailed enough for a glow map N00b. Here is the link: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/63066/? If anyone can help clear this up, I would appreciate the help; there is something that I have wanted to do with glow maps for several months, but my memory had the idea buried until the tutorial was released. Now that idea is at the surface, and it is growing. Thanks, folks. EDIT: Also, if anyone can point me toward a mod that is similar to CoT, but handles lighting in a way that doesn't actually suppress light in order to make nights and dungeons darker, but works more like a natural night or dark interior, please point me toward that. Thanks again. Link to comment
JRCosta
I use this tutorial to create glow maps, it is pretty straightforward: http://tesalliance.org/forums/index.php?/tutorials/article/91-graphic-artistry-glow-maps/ You just need an image editor that support .dds files (Paint.net or GIMP) and Nifskope. Good luck. Link to comment
