Molevalence Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 I just have a quick question about MO and Skyrim vanilla characters. I looked around and could not really find a straight answer and I apologize if this sounds like a noob question but I'll take the hit. I know how to alter mods manually for the most part (Change character textures from one to another, where to place files in which folder (( for the most part )) ) my question is how do you alter the vanilla skyrim characters? I checked the MO folder and it has no indication or folder where I can do this. I can do this with a custom race because it has its own folder and once I find it I can do what I want but I cannot find anything for the vanilla characters. Do I need to touch the actual Skyrim folders? I ask this because I am making a orc character and she has the male running animations which is a huge thorn in my side for me. I tried a few animation change mods but they don't seem to be working.
gvman3670 Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 Textures and body meshes for the default NPCs are added by simply installing the mods "normally", which makes all default races use them. I have a mod for changing female Orc walk. Forget where I found it, though. Orc female animations-27808-1-1.zip To use it with MO just install normally and move it below any other female animations mods you may have installed (in the left pane of course since there's no plugin file).
Molevalence Posted February 23, 2015 Author Posted February 23, 2015 Sorry for the late reply. Thank you for this solution.
