Yes it is more than enough horsepower to run S3, but unfortunately, it still wont make S3 run smooth when using StoryProgression.

 

 

SP lags pretty bad out of the box, especially with Seasons installed but if you play with Register, Overwatch, and SP's settings just right, you can get a pretty lag free experience.

 

SP Is the only mod I'm aware of that allows you manually set how many human and animal Sims you want in your world.  Register will allow you to stop immigration and strays but I went into the total anhilation setting in MC and realized that even with Register not allowing strays and immigration, I was still getting over 150 Sims in the world I created, and that opens the door to all sorts of lag because they eventually run into routing issues and save files get bloated faster.  These days I have register set to 0 out all the strays, I then use SP to set the amount of human sims to 80, dogs to 5, horses to 2, and cats to 2.  Then there's the story teller option which does the pop ups telling you what Sims in your world are up to.  It has various filters that allows one to just get story notifications from family members or friends or partners or mix it up and have just friends and family or just partners and friends or whatever.  I noticed sometimes the popups were generating a bit of lag so I just have that option disabled, I really don't give a damn what the non active Sims in my game are doing anyways.  I then have Overwatch set to delete the vehicles, homeless, and gnomes every 24 Sims hours and by doing all of that, and keeping Seasons the hell away from my installation, I only get this 20-30 second "lock up" every 6-8 Sims hours, and I'm betting that's SP and the games default coding fighting over spawning. 

 

Did I already mention getting rid of Seasons also helped a lot? 

 

The expansions I tried once and never bothered again due to either save game bloat or lag would have to be..

 

World Adventures (it creates save game bloat)

Into The Future (it creates save game bloat and sometimes lag when that time traveler comes around)

Island Paradise (the island worlds were extremely laggy for me personally, not sure about anyone else)

Seasons (the rain seemed to cause a little lag, and the expansion seems to spawn even more sims)

 

Speaking of KW though, I faintly remember a year or so ago I brought up how KW should toy with the zombies next and I think Onki said that was a plan.  But well, since then we've gotten flashers, horses, and it looks like peeping toms are next but no zombies.  I mean with zombie craze being as hot as it is right now, a little zombie porn in KW would be pretty cool, or maybe added sex features for the werewolves or vampires.

Limiting population is something I learned very early on. I have that capped pretty hard. I also learned that editing every house in town to add beds, pet stuff and cots will also raise memory, cpu usage and save size, as will having too many Sims with custom content clothing and hair. These days I pretty much just play the one family, and I try to keep the household under 8 for the most part, even though it might accidentally get higher some times; smaller households certainly help performance.

 

As for save bloat; I don't really care how big the overall size is, as long as it loads fairly quick, which it does. Of course each world you visit has it's own save within each save folder, which increases the overall save size, but individually they aren't all that big, as long as you keep CC and town edits to a minimum.

 

Yes I did find the Island Paradise world to be very laggy. I very much doubt I'll be removing any though, as I quite enjoy the full experience.

I have an issue that has cropped up recently. Sims no longer sleep right through to their alarm time, but only sleep until fully rested, no matter how I set the action.

 

Also with Peeping toms I'm getting this error. Build 277

I thought I read somewhere that this was the preferred location for bug reports. Not sure where I saw that now. Even so, Patreon isn't particularly designed well for bug reports from what I could see.

 

Tonight I'll test my theory on this error as well as the dog reset error. I've been looking at ErrorTrap and GoHere, as they produce the logs, but what I'm wondering is if they are all related to register settings related to immigration an stray population caps (I would also say StoryProgression, but I don't use it any more). If the cap for stray dogs is too low, it might be deleting the strays, as KW produces a lot of them for NPC households. The same for Peeping Toms, might be being deleted as immigrated Sims.

 

I'm sure there are possible ways to work-around this issue with the KW code, like other mods do, but as the author doesn't use any NRaas mods, it's a little tricky to do so.

 

 

Oh well, you could be right. For one, I know you can't PM a script file directly to Oniki on Patreon like you can here. Instead, we just post them into the comments. I just know that when posting bugs from the Patreon version, they get noted quickly on that site. Here, they might get lost in the mix.

But she has since made it possible to do Kinky woohoo with zombies, something that I was unable to do before. As for more advanced interactions, someone has requested features for fairies, werewolves and vampires on Patreon. Oniki was open to it and did ask for suggestions. No one knows how far in the future it will be, but perhaps zombies will get more love at that time.

I play with Nraas Relativity set to speed 24, so everything goes at a more leisurely pace (about 65%) so I can farm a larger garden etc. (Relativity changes something with animation speed vs game clock speed)

 

... my sim's first callgirl job then had her get violated nonstop for several hours, without a chance to drink or pee because it just keeps alternating gossip-screw-gossip-screw. As soon as she was done, she ran outside, drank some honey then peed on the street ... 

 

... so erm, if you use Relativity to give yourself more time, you should reduce the maximum duration of Woohoo accordingly.

Click the dog, then you should have those interactions: showpussytodog, oraljobtodog, observeanimalpenis, invitedogonallfours and handjobtodog. AFAIK female sims only!

SP can generate many lag issues because it scans every sims and every house to choice jobs, relationships and skills upgrades. I used this mod on a large map world and after a couple of hour my game was unplayable, even after stopping many features (popups, scan house, force sims to collect, etc). I've also used Awesome mod, and i've found it less intrusive. My worlds get better and it also give the possibility to set the max number of sims in town.

Unfortunately, awesome mod and old version of kinkyworld "forcehighlodai" feature literally froze my worlds. I don't know if oniki will reintroduce that feature, so at this moment i'm playing only with overwatch, debug enabler, register and Zerbu Ultimate Career, and my cpu can handle a small map with over 100 sims without issues, but i'm testing a new medium map i've found because i would have more lots.

I've also checked, as read on other forums, that big size dogs can be an issue. As soon as there were lag problems, I checked my town: a big size dog was added as  newmember in a random family.

I've uninstalled pets (previously i also uninstalled island paradise because i don't need it) and magically my game was faster, better, and i had no more lag problem, also during rainy days (season is also a pain in the ass sometimes).

 

About custom contents, they are not a big problem if you convert your cc in package and merge them in one single "library". The sims3 has problems when there are more than 100 packages to load on start.

Best fix for that is to start up a new world and go straight to total annihilation under MC and just wipe out ever EA Sim in the world, then destroy most of the home lots, as well as some of the community lots that are known to spawn numerous non active sims. That way the game relies primarily on the Sims families I create, and they already are all assigned jobs so there's less for SP to do and therefore less lag.

 

I have so much stuff in SP disabled though so I'm barely using it, its just there to keep the population capped.  I do wish that Twallan or however you spell his or her name would have added the population settings to Register though instead of SP, it just would have made more sense since Register already handles everything else to do with the population, but it was added to SP instead.

 

Oh, the other fun way to do things is to download one of the non populated worlds from MTS but quite a few of those require a lot of tweaking to get them the way I like them. 

 

I'm trying to find a good post apocalyptic world but so far the only one I found had a layer of smoke which just looked kind of lame.

You mean lowering the WooHoo duration in the Kinky settings, right? I have mine set to a maximum time of 90 minutes, but that doesn't effect the call girl jobs. Call girl situations still last 6 hours, unless there was a new option added recently that I'm unaware of? 6 hours would seem like an eternity with Relativity slowing it down further.

If I start a new world, create a handful of families, build the park, graveyard, etc and then play the game for awhile but with Kinky World still set to false or disabled and then lets say a new version of KW comes out, is a brand new save still recommended even though KW was never set to true/enabled in the current save?

If I start a new world, create a handful of families, build the park, graveyard, etc and then play the game for awhile but with Kinky World still set to false or disabled and then lets say a new version of KW comes out, is a brand new save still recommended even though KW was never set to true/enabled in the current save?

 

 

 

if it was not set to true it should be fine as nothing has loaded i always continue with out starting a new game and have not had any problems yet installing updates as long as you clear the cashe files

So I just noticed there seems to be an option to add custom panties to KW settings.  Has anyone played with this yet, and if so, how does it work?  I have both Oniki's panties and lenglei's accessory panties in my game.  How would I go about adding lenglei's to the KW mod?  (Or would they be there by default, since s3pe tells me they share the same type but different instances?)

I have been using KW for awhile now and have recently experienced a problem that I can't seem to correct.  My sim family was expecting a male child and through MC, I changed the gender to a female.  Later, when the toddler aged up to a child, I changed the gender back to a male because the facial structure looked better as a male.  No problem until the child aged up to a teen.  He's gorgeous as a male, but KW still thinks he's a female and I'm getting fertile notifications.  My settings were gender specific for pregnancy and I'm not sure if resetting KW will correct that.  If it does, do I reset by turning KW off and then back on again?

As far as I know, at this time, there is no animations package available featuring dog or horse animation. But you can use the "builtin" interactions Jolie Rouge mentioned.

You shouldn't have to start a new game if KW was never enabled.

I just wondered if it`s possible to play as a gay callboy doing the passive part ? sorry for my bad english im not a native speaker :)

 

It is possible - you just have to choose "switch actors."  (Also, the interactions will still appear as CallGirl - though I hope Oniki will refine this later so the in-game menus reflect your Sim's gender, it's ultimately a very minor bug from my point of view)

Wait for the sex to start

Click on the character you're screwing

Select Kinky -> Woohoo -> swap positions

 

It'll take a few moments to adjust (I think it finishes the current animation before swapping the actors) and a couple of more seconds for strap-ons to appear.

i have a problem since a short time...big lags before beginning any autonomy kinky-action and when my sim change dressed too. it seems thats the problem only happens in the homelot

(its avery big house). i play with the last free version of kinky-world. any ideas how can i solve this problem without move in a smaller house? i dont use error-trap and overwatch with the recommended settings

I restarted another world in bridgeport, now in the 3rd day of playing and all of a sudden my sims can't sleep in their double beds. I did notice the Z signs were following them too. Isla paradiso is problematic, have you installed the routing fixes for it from Mod The Sims? That helps and I get the z's sticking around too sometimes but it eventually goes away. On the mod the sims there are routing fixes for several worlds which help out. The only problem is they are multi part files and you will need winrar to extract them properly. I prefer 7zip but had to use winrar just for those. I uploaded the files somewhere for safe keeping just to have an online backup. I can't do anything since I'm at work but if you like pm me and I'll see where I uploaded them. It's best to keep them in various safe places as they have to added every time you reinstall Sims 3.

Hi thank you for this great mod, and all the help/advice,This latest update has really improved interactions, I love the sitting on knee one, it looks very intimate and cute for a married couple to do.

I've got everything set up as it [hopefully] should be, Ive set the rape to 40,instead of 10,but the past few nights Im not seeing any rapes happening, nor am I seeing the peeping tom, [which by the way I find a very exciting idea] I think its because I took out nraas SP, after reading this thread, and the town is run only on EA default SP, so is the game sending away these extra people? I read a thread on the previous page which suggests thats the case. I am noticing a lot of tourists though.

The only peeping thing I notice is the postman who swiftly runs away, its never an npc. 

So basically how can I control how many of each type such as npc horses dogs with only EA controlling the SP? Thank you I hope my explanation is understandable! 

How high level does a whore have to be, to become a callgirl? 

I do have nraas mods: MC,decensor,relativity,shooless. Cmar mods, clothes, shoes, mods.

I play in starlight shores, but Im not worried about starting over whenever.

One other thing I meant to add, I use CC Magic to start my game, it does it very well, but how do you experts start your games?thanks again for any help.

I also have all the expansions except sweet treats, and most of the stuff packs,would it help to remove seasons and world adventures? I cant stand the snow rain etc so they are turned off anyway.

Basically I love the hell out of this mod, and want it to keep running as well as possible.
