Still get infinite load screens

Recommended Posts

Hello people :)

I am just curious if I am alone in this, First let me say yes I have EnBoost and the SKSE memory fix, Yet I still get infinite load screens, there is a way around it just start a new game and then load your save but my question is....is there anyway to fix this entirely ? It is annoying >.<

Can I increase the memory heap in the SKSE ini? or perhaps there is something else I am unaware of?

Thank you in advance <3

http://wiki.step-project.com/ENBoost (without the ones in [Global] if you want ENB visuals too).

And don't touch any of the Papyrus values in your Skyrim INI's, they will only make things worse (unless you know what you're doing).

Also try using "Stable uGrids To Load" (CellStabilizer.dll).

I have default papyrus settings, I am using Stable uGrids To Load as well. I followed the SRLE guide for the most part taking out only the mega performance hogs like SDO and SFO and so on.

what is different and the only thing different is that my

ExpandSystemMemoryX64= was set to true, according to Neovalen Under [MEMORY], set ExpandSystemMemoryX64=true. This allows Skyrim to use more available memory in 64-bit systems.

Perhaps I should revert that?

Okay so I reverted that change and boom the save loaded, so weird. I guess Neo was wrong in this case? I have a 64 bit system I am confused but the game now loads so yay. Thank you for your aid :)

Hmm the line about disabling "ExpandSystemMemoryX64" baffled me a lot. Then i read all the explanations on the STEP ENB settings guide, changed my enblocal.ini according to what they suggest.

----> PC frozen solid for 5 minutes before i can even open the task manager to shut the game down.

Weird, I thought the guide had it at true. Yeah, for 64-bit systems that line has to be true. The other stuff it says is right though. I use them myself (with the calculated VRAM and visuals enabled).
