Wow I shouldn't be surprised

Fasten your seat belts, this is a LOOOONG post! Muhwahaha!

Recently I decided to take my modded game of Skyrim all tricked out with tons of mods installed, mostly adult ones, and play it live for others on a broadcasting service. Originally I was going to do it on Steam, but then I read their TOS and it stated "No adult content allowed!"...even though people were streaming games rated M. Like Skyrim. Which even the vanilla version has adult content in it. *gets confused* So instead I found out about Twtich. Unfortunately they're extremely vague about their rules so I thought that as long as I didn't show any sex scenes (which I didn't...I'm pretty sure), and kept the nudity to a bare minimum (heehee couldn't resist) I'd be fine. Well, fast forward to today when I'm broadcasting more gameplay. I'm in this epic battle with a legendary Dragon, getting my butt kicked. When all of a sudden I hear my Winder$ machine starting to make error sounds. I close down the game. Notice that my recording software was failing to connect to Twitch. So I go onto Twitch's website, only to find that my password didn't work. Okay then, I thought, I'll just reset it! I do that, and go to my email only to find that I received an email earlier saying "LOLOLOLOLOLOL your'e banned. For showing PORN!!!!"

TL;DR I'm appearently banned from Twitch because some prude had an axe to grind. Off to waste more time finding a live broadcasting site allowing gameplays featuring adult content...

I know one streamer who occasionally ends up showing nudity, but only for like a few seconds while changing armors for example. There hasn't been any trouble so far. Another streamer actually had a SexLab anim occur on stream, but was prepared to block it with an image overlayed on top and decreased audio volume. I guess it's just a matter of being super careful and hoping nobody reports you...

That was the actual email they sent you? What are they idiots?

Did you have a lot of views? Cause I find it really boring watching someone playing a game.

The actual email said

"Your account at www.twitch.tv/************** was the subject of a Terms of Service suspension for violating the following category: porn. As a result, we have given you a 24-hour restriction from using the site."

Yeah, I was looking online after I got the email, and it appears the admins on that site are like certain others sites and like to ban more on whims and fanices than actual rule breaking. Now the question is who did I piss off?

May be next time don't use HDT mod.

Wait, so the reason that I got banned was not because of nudity (showed very briefly once or twice), or sex( never shown), or even subtle references to beastiality, but because of HDT? What the hell, are the admins on that site virgins who've never been with a women and think that jiggly T&A is porn? Are you sure that's the reason?

Dude, a lot of 12 year-olds watch Twitch & I think Twitch wants to cater tho that demographic also. No, the site admins didnt ban you because they are virgins. They banned you because they dont want bad publicity of their services. But, again, streaming adult content is a legitimate need. I wish someone would start a site that tends to this need.

Hmm, maybe there are differences between live content and recorded material? Don't know. Actually, I'm not even sure if there are that specific laws for that stuff at all (Mrs. Merkel called the internet "virgin soil", so....)

Sexually explicit acts or content: Nudity can't be a core focus or feature of the game in question, modded nudity is disallowed in it's entirety, and occurrences in game are ok so long as you do not make them a primary focus of your stream and only spend as much time as needed in the area to progress the game's story.

http://www.twitch.tv/user/legal

ToS Section 13, Second paragraph.

c. Content that is unlawful, libellous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, indecent, lewd, suggestive, harassing, threatening, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, abusive, inflammatory, fraudulent or otherwise objectionable;

Seems pretty clear to me OP.

You should probably use Daily Motion or Vimeo for any future streams or playthrough videos if you don't want to have to limit your videos to pornography sites such as Naughty Machinima.

Vimeo's terms of service are slightly less hazy than those of Daily Motion regarding adult content but their distinction between sexual and non-sexual nudity could possibly lead to issues with certain mods whereas Daily Motion doesn't make the distinction but technically forbids any explicit depiction of genitalia(which is rarely, if ever, enforced and might not apply to cartoons or video games judging by Daily Motion series such as Skyrim Boobs and Lubes Uncensored though live action videos are let to slide most of the time as long as they aren't super close-ups of anyone's genitalia being manipulated, which is to say, still a bit less explicit than what one might expect to see on Da Vinci's Demons on Starz) which could be just as much of a bother.

The thing is that other than showing a bare back, there was no nudity shown. And no sex scenes were shown.

Heehee I should've looked at what I wrote before posting. What I meant that the admins from that site are like admins from certain other sites in their actions.

This is of course hilarious.

Women driving cars is unlawful in Saudi-Arabia; many cultures see direct eye contact as obscene or threatening/harassing (evil eye anyone).

Writing terms like "lewd" or "indecent" into a ToS contract in 2015 makes me undecided wether i should laugh or cry about this. It finally allows to declare pretty much anything a "breach of contract", entirely dependant on the personal emotions of the censor.

As far as violence being "more okay" than nudity/sex that really needs to stop confounding people.

Get over it...you're not going to change a culture evolved from centuries of illogical Puritan thinking by using logic in Internet forums...think it hasn't been tried already?

See you went about it the wrong way, what you needed to do was rig up a way to make your character play Skyrim for you, on your webcam, so you could basically just play non-sexy Skyrim, but have your waifu on the webcam screen looking like shes actually playing the game, and have her in cleavage cam mode...because apparently cleavage cam is legal on Twitch.

You missed out on a brilliant opportunity man!
