deltarno Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 The age old question. Long version; I'm re-installing skyrim again, and while I remember I had busty females with physics, I cannot for the life of me remember which mod I used to get them. Do they work well together?
Uno Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 Use "Bodytypes of Skyrim" or "Bodychange" and get rid of all your doubts. But if you really need one, then pick CBBE+Bodyslide, a lot more variety.
ousnius Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 The new "standard", at least mine and the one of lots of others, is the "HDT Physics Extensions" with the "XPMS Extended" skeleton and any of the HDT compatible bodies such as CBBE from BodySlide, 7B, Unified UNP, Citrus, ... (though the last two don't have outfits yet).
ChocoboDreams Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 That "bodytypes of Skyrim" mod seems pretty awesome. Could one theoretically just download that and never have to worry about switching bodies, or even facial/body textures again? I've always used CBBE because it has the most compatibility with everything else I use, but installing textures can get -really- tedious specifically when I goof up and I'm not sure where. I like the idea of being able to set different body types for NPCs, too, as I tend to switch up a lot depending on what race I'm playing and don't want everybody else to change with me.
winny257 Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 for me "is and remains "CHSBHC BBP by Cherry Hotaling the only true body in Skyrim. Use all other types of body Cherrys mod, he was a master and I will always worship him.
Terakhan Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 Thanks to Outfit Studio and Bodyslide 2, it shouldn't be a question. You can make cbbe into pretty much any other body, and convert armors to that body within minutes.
deltarno Posted February 5, 2015 Author Posted February 5, 2015 What has science wrought!? That is to say, I decided to try the best of both (all) worlds, and download both Cbbe and Chsbhc. However, following Uno's advice, I decided to try bodytypes of Skyrim. Trying it out, I did a few basic tweeks (I.e, set the range of breasts between medium and max), then tried the game. Except now I have a problem. First warning sign was when the starting prisoner rags (set for Cbbe) were transparent. As in, I could see through the character. Second, the game crashes whenever I try to see a female character naked. Sometimes I can get away with the pc (currently a skinny teen, with nowhere near the body type I wanted) being nude, but sometimes it still goes splat. Clearly I need to adjust my body types so all are usable, fitting in the cbbe armor, and not crashing the game. Sadly, I am clueless about the body slider. I make a new form, it says sure, then it crashes the game. Any advice for how to fix it via body slider, or should I just reinstall the two basic types?
TnTTnT Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 Probably skeleton problem. Try to install XPMSE 2.43 over any skeleton you have now.
