Satyrist Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 What should I be aware of if I use Nifscope to convert a piece of armour into a ground mesh? or is it a better idea to use something like Blender?
Arizona_Steve Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 Oops, wrote out a full step-by-step, then realized this was for Oblivion and not for Skyrim...
kingkong Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 using nifskope you can do a ground mesh but it will keep its original shape even if you scale it as generally you delete the niskininstance . it is better to use any 3d soft to reshape the mesh to someting flat and put it in the correct position (keep the skeleton easy to export ) . than with nifskope you open any ground mesh you " remove branch " the nitrishape (original) and copy and past the one you recently done after deleting the niskininstance. and at last you "havok" - " create convex shape " .
