Is There An Easy Way To Trace Mod Effects?

Hello;

 

So, I'm having a reoccurence of the bug where, when the character approaches Whiterun from Riverwood, the game crashes because Aela (at Pelagic Farm) is somehow altered.  I've been slowly working my way through my list of mods, but so far, there is no obvious culprit.  Is there an easy way to search the game files to locate which mods are acting upon a particular NPC?

 

If not, then, what mods have caused this problem for others in the past?

Attached is the most recent Papyrus file, which crashed as soon as I hit the Whiterun Exterior cell.

Well if you know where you crash disable whatever mod is altering something in this area

 

If you think it is because of aela use the "help" command and spawn aela infront of you if it would be because of her you will crah as soon as she spawns

 

Besides trial and error there is no way to easy know which mod is the problem besides the papyurs log in which I don't see something.

Well I don't know a lot of the mods you installed so you kinda have to figure it out yourself what mod modifies something near whiterun disable it and try the game again and so on

but this isn't how you fix thing, depending on luck is a waste of time

 

save before the ctd, and uncheck mods until it no longer ctd

then recheck mods until it ctd, that's the fastest way to find the problem

Crashing at the farm at the start of the game can be caused by a skeleton issue with the beast skeleton for werewolves, and since your issue with with Aela, I'm betting thats the case here. I had that issue and it was maddening to track down, you can try reinstalling your skeleton and letting it overwrite everything, lots of mods can make changes to the werewolf skeleton, for the reason I always install my custom sleketon <in this case Groovtama's latest> last and let it overwrite everything it wants to.
