alienDuke Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 Hi i have been modding skyrim for a while using mod organiser ( so i know the basic how to install/ uninstall etc) with no problems. but recently I have been getting an error message saying i can not install my mods due to a drive issue. when i first installed Skyrim from steam I told it to "save" Skyrim to my steam library on my portable hard drive steam said was E: drive, but my portable hard drive is G: but everything worked so I did not worry. Over Christmas I got a new computer desk, so I unplugged my portable hard drive changed desks then plugged it back in. i then tried modding skyrim using MO but was given a error message saying problem with the E:, so i check steam it could not find the E:, I then check my portable Hard drive which it still appears as G: but the "E:" is no where to be found, all my files are in the right places all, my games work, but as soon as I try using mod organiser to install a mod I get an error message telling me the E: is missing even through I am trying to install mods from my download folder on my C: to try getting around this i have re installed Skyrim to my G: drive as well as Mod organiser but the problem remains I am don't know enough knowledge about mod organiser to fix this problem my self so any help useful. Cheers
