wjfleury Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Gonna be getting my new PC back on Monday and I am going to need to reload skyrim and all my mods again since they had to restore the machine to it's original state. I am gonna switch ENB's think I have been using Realvision. What are some of the choices out there and the pros and cons of certain ones. I prefer something that is not too dark and has some bright colors in the daytime and generally has a nice realistic look to it. Here is my machine specs so you can gauge what I can run, should be able to run just about anything but you never know. My monitor only goes up to 1920X1080 Intel I7 4930 64 GB DDR3-1600 Dual GTX 780 OC with 3GB each Dual SATA M500 Solid State Drives in raid 0 array Anyone have advice on what I might take a look at, I have had Serenity ENB K-ENB's and Truevision suggested just wondering if there is any more of them and which ones might be really good. Thank you all very much.
myuhinny Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Not sure what kind you are looking for but I use atm one of Minoumimi's ENB's it's called Minou’s Glossy ENB if body meshes in armors and outfits have a normal number for glossiness float the body will have a natural shine if a body has the glossiness float set at 1000.0000 then the body will have a oily look. http://www.nekomods.com/enb-presets-graphical-overhauls/minous-glossy-enbThey also have the Minou’s Supreme Graphic Overhaul and ENB Presets I haven't tried this one yet. http://www.nekomods.com/enb-presets-graphical-overhauls/minous-supreme
wjfleury Posted January 11, 2015 Author Posted January 11, 2015 Thanks I will check those out. I am gonna check the links for all of them and look over the screenshots. I would like ones with realistic looking graphic not only for the landscapes and buildings but for the bodies and armors and stuff as well. Where I spent so much money on the machine itself I have not had the funds for a ultra high def monitor yet maybe when the prices come down a bit. Would however like to get as good looking as possible on the 1920-1080. I am using Realvision right now and it looks good as far as color but the is a little fuzzy when you get up close and distance is very blurry. This is what mine is doing the up close looks good, really up close vegetation looks a bit choppy though but distant is all blurry.
wjfleury Posted January 11, 2015 Author Posted January 11, 2015 Here is a few up close of a grass pod.
myuhinny Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 The screenshots of mine in the show your skyrim character that I did awhile back are ones while using the Minou’s Glossy ENB. I read on their supreme one that it. Comes with improved textures and meshes for Trees, plants, grass, water, rocks and much more. Also improved shaders smproved sweetfx everything is improved.
myuhinny Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 These are a few shots of indoor with the gloss ENB.
wjfleury Posted January 11, 2015 Author Posted January 11, 2015 Thanks I will take a look at this one as well. I can always try them out and see how I like them. I really want to push my new machine as hard as I can. Even my old machine here runs Realvision pretty easily there is very little lag at all. I see people posting some great looking stuff and want to get in on some of that. I may have to wait till I get an ultra HD monitor but we will see. Thanks for all your help you have been a great help! Thanks for taking the time to help with this and the nipple ring thing. Still have not figure out NIFSKOPE I did try it but got frustrated with it, will probably try again once I get the machine back. I will keep on posting my pics and will let you know how I make out with the ENB. Thanks again.
myuhinny Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Your welcome. Nifskope just takes practice playing around with testing and sometimes breaking things to get the hang of things. You can do quit a bit of things with nifskope.
ao2thend Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Lots of ENB's and lots of choices out there. If only someone took the time to make an "ENB Comparison Shots" topic here on LL that details many of the current ENB's and shows how they look. If only such a topic existed...

Maybe after I get hooked back up tomorrow I will try that and see, got a lot of setup work to do once I get it back but once I get all my stuff loaded back on maybe I can do that. Can invite others to load up their screenshots too. Realvision is nice for a lower end machine but I am looking for something a little more.
ao2thend Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Sorry, I was being sarcastic... I've already done that here: http://www.loverslab.com/topic/40485-enb-comparison-shots-20/ Hopefully that saves you some trouble.

If I would have looked just a little more I probably would have found it.
wjfleury Posted January 11, 2015 Author Posted January 11, 2015 Looked at them Far Off I think is gonna win it, I like the lighting, the detail and the non blurry of the distant views best on that one. Has the best close up shots of character faces too. Far off it is! Thank you so much.
