Kamon137 Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 I'm pretty sure this neck seam wasn't on the character when I started, but here goes. I'm not entirely sure that it's a texture issue, because of the way it presents itself. http://s29.postimg.org/6011pv7yd/seam.jpg So here's the thing about it. http://s29.postimg.org/bcuhhql8l/noseam.jpg It only appears when I'm outdoors. Now, I also have Climates of Tamriel handling outdoor lighting, and ELFX handling indoor lighting, so I thought that could have something to do with it. Deactivating CoT reduces the difference in brightness, but that's all. Does this have something to do with normalmaps or something? How can I fix it? I'm using the CBBE natural body and default CBBE textures. Thoughts?
PsychoMachina Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 Try this. I have done something similar in the past, but you have to do the same to the body model from all armors/outfits you want to use. http://www.loverslab.com/topic/36114-do-it-dirty-fix-that-skyrim-neck-seam/

A couple of the settings (namely Num UV Sets) can't be modified, even after changing the startup version in settings.
gvman3670 Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 Are you using a different texture layer on the head/face than you're using on the body? It looks like you are. If you try something like Fair Skin Complexion and use the entire set (for all body parts) you shouldn't see a seam at all. But many people try adding a different face texture for some reason or other. Heck, Monli might be using a seperate head/face texture anyway. Here is my Monli using Univision FSC Sweaty (the entire pack) and there is no seam at all.

The CBBE natural body, oval head, default CBBE texture pack. I don't think any of my mods should be interfering, as I don't have any body mods for other females. I've tried doing full uninstallation and reinstalling with alternate settings, but no luck. EDIT: I eventually tried reinstalling Monli with the natural thick body and the round head, and that fixed my problem. I'm not gonna screw around with the texture packs any more to make sure that this doesn't repeat itself, but thanks for trying to help regardless.
