guk Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 Title says it - is it possible to disable the auto-save when finishing the character creation on a new game, or is that hardcoded? Because i test a lot of stuff, and the autosaves are getting annoying. Note that i have the game option for autosaves disabled, and use the autosavemanager mod instead.
Prometeus5879 Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 I guess it must be possible if using some kind of alternative start. My guess is that the "starting" mod also does the save. I assume this because when starting a new game with the Maria Eden mod, there is no initial save. Another alternative is using MO. When I test something I just create a new profile or a copy of an existing one, do my testing and then delete that profile. It removes all the saves at once (local savegames option set).
Uncle64 Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 Was thinking the same for some time ago. Did noticed that all new plays did get one clean save, even if autosave was turned off. It happens when using Alternative Start mods to. The Maria Eden mod I have no idea about.
