flipdarkfuture Posted January 4, 2015 Posted January 4, 2015 I need some help with this. I've made a pretty good-quality outfit that I've fitted to the _0 CBBE body mesh, that I've been trying to fit onto the _1 body inside of Blender, only to end up with some very garbled meshes that would require me to basically make up entire new UVs and bake new maps to make work. Does anybody know of a very straightforward and reliable method of converting _0 clothes to fit _1 bodies? I know about mesh rigger, but I've never really had much success with using it.
blabba Posted January 4, 2015 Posted January 4, 2015 Using 3dsMax or Outfit Studio it is very easy to do this. Dunno about Blender, but I assume it has something similar 3dsMax: 1. Import High and Low weight bodies 2. Make 1 a morph of the other 3. Take your armour and skinwrap it to the body 4. Morph your Body to the other weight 5. Export OS is the same principle above.
flipdarkfuture Posted January 4, 2015 Author Posted January 4, 2015 Hmm. Yeah, I tried doing that first but it ended messing up the mesh when I tried to skinwrap it. I think I just need to work at it. It's really just a minor issue.
Niobia Posted January 4, 2015 Posted January 4, 2015 I'd say try using Outfit studio. I know next to nothing about 3D modeling except for building stuff in Second Life (which is nothing like 3D modeling programs for the most part). I've managed to adjust outfits to my own bodies I've made with BodySlide2 which always range from super small to pretty big. The smoothing tool along witht he other tools makes it really easy. I can only imagine what someone able to actually make armors would be able to do with Outfit Studio
