Texture Madness (Weird Face Texture and Neck Seam)

Hi everyone,

I have a little texture problem for which I could not find a solution on my own. After some time I decided to start playing Skyrim again, updating all my mods and try a new save so that there would be no problems with script-heavy mods. I also decided to switch from Nexus Mod Manager to Mod Organizer and have currently the newest ENB installed with the preset of "Real Vision ENB". So far my Skyrim install is stable, however I have a weird face texture issue that does not seem to go away.

In my "old" Setup my character used to look like this: There were no problems with neck seam whatsoever.

 

 

However in my current install she looks like this and there is no way for me to remove this face texture. Whatever I install and uninstall or overwrite it stays there very persistently. Also there is now an ugly neck seam that cannot be removed which has not been there before.

 

 

I would love to return to my "old" character and remove the neck seam. Has anyone an idea?

 

I already tried uninstalling all face texture mods and also starting Vanilla Skyrim. Only in Vanilla (outside of MO) the face texture is different, but still looks as if she had a sunburn (ENB issue?)

This isn't a neck seam problem. A neck seam problem is when there is a gap between the head and the shoulders and the head is not exactly "attached" to the body. 

What you have there is good old texture problem where the texture of the body is not similar with the texture of the face. The face textures usuale come with the body textures when you install a texture set.

So, look around for a texture set you like and install it. The face and body should be quite the same. (although enb can cause some "small" differences but nothing notable.)

Thanks a million for your answer. It is good to know that the problem should be solvable.

 

So far it seems to me that it is not possible to overwrite different texture mods in Mod Organizer, because I actually installed face textures that came with body textures. This is my texture of choice, which I installed last with MO. But the problem persists.
