Sexlab won't work right! (Already tried FAQ)

Okay, so it seems like I'm having a completely unique issue here.

 

I've tried to download files into Nexus using Mod from File.  But it shows no download speed, no completion percentage, and nothing but the name of the file and 'downloading' for status.

 

In addition, I tried getting a second copy and downloading it from another space, and IT HAPPENED AGAIN.  Right now I have 4 different downloads like this stuck in Nexus I can't do anything about!

 

In addition, I did everything correctly to install Sexlab Framework, FNIS, and Sexlab Matchmaker by hand into Skyrim, BUT IT DID NOTHING.  (unless it doesn't kick in until after you complete the intro and if that's the case I'm sorry for bothering you.)

 

I will go check the mod menu again after doing it a second time.  But this is really confusing me.

You are having problems using Nexus Mod Manager (NMM), not the Sexlab Framework.

 

NMM will NOT download files from LoversLab, it would be easy for them to do but that is not the point of them having their own MODS site so expecting their Mod Manager software to download mods from other sites is not reasonable.

 

What you CAN do is download the Sexlab Framework using your browser, then use the "download files" option in NMM to navigate to and then select the file you downloaded using your browser.

You are having problems using Nexus Mod Manager (NMM), not the Sexlab Framework.

THAT IS WHAT I DID!  The problem is that it won't download ON MY OWN F*CKING COMPUTER!

 

AND THAT'S NOT EVEN THE WORST PROBLEM!

 

The mod.  Does.  Nothing.  And no I did not forget to install a mod to USE Sexlab.  Or forget to run FNIS.  Or to sort my plugins.  Hell I'm in the middle of PURGING THE ENTIRE GAME FROM MY SYSTEM and installing it from scratch to ensure it works.  At this point I'm just wanting it TO work.

 

Any help?  PLEASE?

 

(also could someone PLEASE make an installer program for this stuff?  It's driving my nuts to get it to even F*CKING RUN, or at least DO SOMETHING!)

Okay I finally fixed it.

 

For some odd reason, I had to redo Skyrim from scratch with nothing but the sexlab mods so it would actually INSTALL.  WTH?  Has no one else ever had this issue?  That's kind off...a big problem.  I have a lot of mods I'd like to use with it, but I'm not sure I'll even be able to.

It is the NMM that is causing the issue not the mod. I use NMM and have had no issues with SexLab installing but I have had the same issue as you did with other mods (not wanting to install or load into the NMM). Usually I could fix the issue by shutting down NMM, removing any copies of the mod from the folder where NMM stores them then restarting it and trying again.

yeah.  I'm just glad I got sexlab to install into Skyrim.

 

I actually did do that, and for some reason NMM Still has them in the download menu.  Unless I didn't restart it right...
