Sheothemadone Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 View File I was recently searching for the mod "A Better body scale for Khajiit and Argonian Male" and noticed, that the newest version, still is the old edited vanilla skeleton. I looked up on the authors profile just to see, that his last activity was in 2012. So I decided to recreate the skeleton myself and a little bit of extra buff. So hear you see the new "Bulky Body Shape for Khajiit and Argonian Male". Even if the original mod was just an edit of the values of some skeleton nodes, I still want to credit nockchaa (alias TS), cause his mod was clearly the inspiration to this one. The skeleton is the XPMSE (SoS compatibilty yay!) with vanilla weapon placement. Requirements: Groovtama's xp32 skeleton edit v2.4x There weren't any skeleton changes since some time now, so you can use this skeleton even with newer versions of Groovtama's mod without worrying. I will update the mod as soon as Groovtama updates the skeleton itself. Installation: Download XPMSE 2.4x and install it. Then overwrite its skeletonbeast.nif under character assets with my edited one Credits: nockchaa/TS xp32 Groovtama Mirror: Bulky Skeleton for Beast Races (Mega Folder) Recommended Mods: BAM - Brutish Argonian Male Catlike Khajiit (Lion/ess head version) Future plans: I am open for suggestions for further changes to the body. Want wider arms, legs, corpus? Tell me, I try my best. In addition to that, I am going to make a female version of this. I am going to add the values of the Beasty male skeleton to the female ones, so you can crush enemy heads with your bulky reptilian amazon queen! Torcha09 Posted December 27, 2014 Posted December 27, 2014 Does this change npcs too? I'm guessing everyone is gonna be going around trying to get fucked by Liz and cats now lol. I was always tired of the lizards looking scrawny. Made what should have been badass into a disappointment. This would go well with Brutish argonian male no??? Looks great. Wondering if this messes with the positioning in sexlab though..... hopefully nothing but the arms will look off.

If it would be still up, I would recommend it I guess. And yes, it will definitely mess with the animation in SexLab. Nothing I can do about that without me creating new animations fitted for the edited skeleton I think. And well, about creating new animations/poses I have zero knowledge. The skeleton should affect all NPCs too. If you want only your character to look bulky, you can try Custom Races. But I guess I read out of your post that you are more than glad that it affects NPCs too. EDIT: I found the Brutish Argonian Male mod. With the next update (female version) I will add a "Recommended" Section to the description.
Mickster Posted December 27, 2014 Posted December 27, 2014 I may be wrong but it looks like it's the same file as the one included in Groovetama's file, the file hashes match.

Oh god damn it. You are right. I uploaded the wrong file. I will update that as soon as possible. Thanks for the notification! I updated the Mod Page. The correct file should be online now (direct download and Mirror). Sorry again for the inconvenience. Please re-download the file to get the mod working. If anything else is wrong, just tell me, I try to fix it asap.
Mickster Posted December 27, 2014 Posted December 27, 2014 Seems to be working now. Not quite sold on it yet, maybe it'll grow on me or I might yank it out, we'll see.

In the end it is just a matter of taste I guess. But if you want a more buffed skeleton, I can edit it more. And suggestions are always welcome!
Mickster Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 Little headsup, Groovtama updated his mod, it's at version 2.35 now.
Sheothemadone Posted January 13, 2015 Author Posted January 13, 2015 Little headsup, Groovtama updated his mod, it's at version 2.35 now. Thanks for the headsup, but I think I will wait some more updates.
Groovtama Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 2.33 and 2.36 are skeletonwise identical 2 => main number 3 => skeleton changes 6 => bugfixes starting from 0 (rare skeleton changes, non in the last 10 updates or so that would count as a bugfix)
Sheothemadone Posted January 14, 2015 Author Posted January 14, 2015 2.33 and 2.36 are skeletonwise identical 2 => main number 3 => skeleton changes 6 => bugfixes starting from 0 (rare skeleton changes, non in the last 10 updates or so that would count as a bugfix) Thanks for the info! Normally, I just take a peek into your changelog and then think of updating it (considering what is written in your changelog). ^^ Makes it easier to evaluate it now, cause I can take a peek at the ticker at the top left to see what the new version is and update it if and when there is a 2.4.
Groovtama Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 2.4 will not have skeleton changes, but bigger script changes.
Unintentional Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Nice to see more support for beast races, especially with skeleton-related modifications. Female version when?
Sheothemadone Posted January 17, 2015 Author Posted January 17, 2015 Nice to see more support for beast races, especially with skeleton-related modifications. Female version when? The female version is quite the problem at the moment, cause I cannot change how wide the waist is. Cause of that, it will always be very thin with the bulky skeleton values and doesn't have the same look. I have to look how to work around that. I will try to get it ready as soon as possible, but right now I have no sure release date, sorry.
Idanis Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 I like the height of the body, but it seems to suffer from the "johny bravo" syndrome. the legs are to short and arms are to long. anyway you can lengthen the legs and shorten the arms? or could you possibly release a version with the height adjusted with the racemenu? I made a khajiit with racemenu and the XPMS plugin to adjust the height to make him taller and then the biceps to make him buffer and he looks badass, but thats just for my character, I would love to see all the argonians and khajiits look like that but I have no idea how to mod but let me just say thank you so much for making this mod and giving the beast races some love and making them look much fiercer and intimidating
qwertywolf Posted January 7, 2018 Posted January 7, 2018 So I installed this mod and it works but not the sliders for SoS are missing in the RaceMenu. Anyone else have this issue? Everything is active, and I even futz with the order, nothing seems to help. It works for the humans and other races still but the Argonians and Kajiits are stuck with small schlong.
