Invisible body

So, I've got a follower whose body turns invisible upon removing her clothes, but the head and hands remain there, just floating. I can't figure out what might be causing this. All the files seem to be there. I've tried replacing textures, meshes, skeletons and so on, basically done everything I can think of short of replacing my main body with the one the follower has.

 

Anyone got some ideas?

Does your Skyrim works perfectly without that follower?

If No, fix your Skyrim first.

If Yes, then that follower mod is broken. Mods have bugs. Ask mods author what could be wrong.

 

You don't have body textures for your follower. Many custom followers come with custom everything. Mesh, textures, race, etc. The worse is that they also come with custom skeleton. They may also be 'dirty', by mistake author change some vanila stuff.

 

Maybe you have body textures, but:

- they are not in the right place (data\textures\....)

- they are broken, corrupted

 

Your PC is overloaded, can't load more textures.

Other than this mod my game works fine. I posted in the mod's thread as well, but that isn't seeing much activity any more. There was someone else with the same problem who also didn't get a response so I figured a new thread is the next step.

The problem is only there with this version of the follower. I tried others and they worked fine. I should mention that mod I'm talking about here is Alicia Revamped. 

As I said, the texture files seem to be there, as do the skeleton and meshes, and I also tried replacing them with others, just to confirm that its just not my computer not being to able load more textures. That would be unlikely anyway, as I can run other follower mods that have high resolution textures.

I suppose I can mess around with the directories of the files, but for that I guess I'd have to know the exact directory of the files the mod is supposed to load them from? Sorry for my ignorance in that matter, but I don't really know anything about making/changing mods themselves. If I did I would maybe even consider diving in the esp file itself or making my own version of the follower

 

Could it just be that the mod is perhaps supposed to load the body meshes from my main body, which isn't the same as the one the mod is meant to have or something?

 

I was kind of just hoping someone has run into a similar problem and can at least point me in the right direction as to how to fix it.

The likely issue is that it uses a custom body and the mesh for it is missing. Look through the mod's archive file in the meshes folder and see if there are any body meshes in it.

Both femalebody 0 and 1 meshes are there, along with some files for hands, feet, head and such. I just tried replacing those as well, in case they were corrupted or something, but nothing changed. 

Anyway, I think I'll just leave it for now. There were a few other minor inconveniences I had with the mod as well so I'm just going to skip it for the time being.
