looks normal to me.

 

Those are what you should expect with vanilla body type weights and the default shitty bethesda skeleton.

Unfortunately the skeletons (and by extension, the bodies) just aren't designed for these kinds of poses. What you're seeing is the best any animator could do with what we have.

 

I don't imagine there will be any fix for this as it would likely require changes to the bone chains that would invalidate every animation in the game (such as an extra bone between the thigh and shin to allow simulation of a real knee joint).

 

Clearly no one in Bethesda ever raised an arm above their head.
