Cliffe Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 Hello i got SKSE problem,thing is last time i played that was like 10 hours ago all was well,on the next day i start up and then i get ingame msg skse is not working some modes wont be active on the mod configuration menu i had no mods at all,i had 1.7 version i reinstalled it and i got ingame again and on the mod config menu i got only 2 mods from like 7,it used to work fine like this for months and now i cant make it work again,my other mods that need skse simply wont load up,i dunno what to do.Everything is up to date.
Varithina Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 My first though would be to make sure the the game is being launched from the skse_loader, though I would assume that was the first thing you checked for, I know that the game save manager I use sometimes forgets and need it to be retold to use the skse_loader. Next would be to make sure the files are going where they are supposed to be, again something I'm sure you already have done, after that I'm as out of ideas:( Other thing I can suggest is getting it working, save the game then exit skyrim and restart, if you then still have problems you might be better off trying the skse forums themselves as something odd is going on. I freely admit I don't think I have offered you any advice you have not already at least checked for before posting here.

I did everything you said but still this problem is still there, I don't know what to do im so cunfused , can it be a mod conflict ?
Varithina Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 It could be, but just out of curiosity, when you have a game loaded, and you hit esq to take you back to the load/save mcm menu area does it show skse and which version it is at the bottom left of the screen where it shows the version of skyrim you are using? It will be just under the quit option. If it is then skse should be working, if it is not showing skse in brackets just after your skyrim version then there is something wrong with your skse install.

Ack, well I've no idea what's wrong then, best bet would be try the skse forums where you downloaded it from, somebody there might have more of a clue. The few times I've had skse not working, doing a re-install or checking the loader have sorted it, sorry I can't be more help.

Current required version of SKSE is 1.7.1 Aye,i haave fixed this issue,what happend was really strange,i have no idea how this happened,but i found out that i have somehow deleted my scripts folder ! OMG how stupid i was,my scripts fold,i deleted it by mistake when i was removing unnecesary backup folders,i have restored my scripts folder not fully restored but it's a start,i have tons of scripts to find and put back now LOL,but the skse mods work now,all of them,i am happy again LOL.
