[Fixed] Follower running back to one spot

[Unspec]

Having an issue where Jenassa keeps running back to a spot near Markarth. Believe it started happening after a fight with some vampires. Not sure what really caused it, but when I looked back at my followers I realized she was missing and used the console to teleport to her. I've tried disable/enable, resetai, recycleactor, kill/resurrect, waiting 31 days while indoors, cleaning the save with a script cleaner, nothing seems to work.

 

No matter how far I teleport her away from that spot, she always immediately starts running towards that spot again. If I ask her to do something, she follows me and executes the command just fine. But as soon as I stop commanding her, she starts to run back again. Telling her to wait here doesn't do anything, neither does dismissing her. She always returns to that one spot, and also doesn't react at all to any hostiles. Any ideas on how to fix this issue?

Yup, had that happen once. If enough time goes by they'll despawn and your follower wont know it. Try an earlier save and/or dismiss the follower, wait several in game days then try get then back.
