Game Crashing on Loading Screen.

For the past day or two, I haven't been able to play Skyrim. Everytime I loaded up my game, it would just crash, or the loading screen would play for a few seconds then crash. I have a custom loading screen and main menu, but I haven't encountered any problems with them. I don't remember downloading any mods to make this happen, and I even checked my downloads. Nothing. Earlier today, I downloaded some more mods, forgetting the fact that the game already wasn't working. I uninstalled the mods, and it still isn't. Any one got any ideas?

Use TES5Edit or Wrye Bash to check for mods that are missing a master, crashing at startup is usually caused by that.

Thanks man. But I already deleted my folder and restored it to my last backup, and wrote down and downloaded every mod that I saw missing. But I'll keep that in mind next time it happens.

EDIT: Not even my back up works. What?

As Veladarius said, 99% of the time CTD on loading screen is missing masters. Doesn't matter if it's a fresh install or a backup or a transfer, something is missing, out of place or disabled.

Fire up Wrye Bash (it's faster than TES5Edit for this kind of case IMO) and look for the red stuff.

I got Wyre Bash, and I looked at mods. The only thing I saw orange was Puppet Master. Everything else was green. The masters are blue except Sexlab, which is orange.. [i'm talking about check box color]

I assume "checked my downloads" means Verify Integrity of Game Cache via Steam.

This may have overwritten your ini's so check that they are properly configured especially if you are using ENB.

If your masters were cleaned then the verification process will have overwritten them and they'll need to be cleaned again.

If you are or were using an ENB then those can cause CTD at the loading screen if installed or uninstalled incorrectly.

Naturally make sure that SKSE is up-to-date and properly installed.

Other than that this may be an issue specific to this setup about which there just isn't enough information.

Well, I checked my recent downloads from a week till now [which this started happening within that timeframe] and I saw the stuff that I downloaded and that worked. But I looked up the problem, and one of the answer were verifying the integrity, so I did. Could that have caused more problems?

I got it working. All I did was reset back to my backup, and even though it wasn't working, it works now. I got all my mods back, although my game crashes on a save. I've narrowed it down to two mods - Hip swing and dance [which requires the dance synchronizer], which I might have downloaded wrong, and the HDT Test Skirts. Although, I got it to save even with the test skirts.
