How do I remove breast bounce from an armor set without breaking stuff?

See title^. I've never tried to do anything like this before, and am wondering if there's any weird stuff I have to be aware of? Also, if it involves deleting bones (nifscope, bodyslide?), which ones and how to do so would be greatly appreciated!

I'd be interested in this too.  There was a non-bouncing-steel sexy Sovngarde Steel armor set that I remember.  It was based on the "classic" one done for CBBE, but I think this version was for CHSBC or something like that, and the guy had disabled jiggle on all the steel bits, and it was great to see the steel solid with only the breasts jiggling.

Wish I could do the trick, but it's beyond my sketchy understanding at the moment.  But any pointers would be greatly appreciated

I know almost nothing about HDT but I do know that the mesh jiggles because it's weighted to the breast bones. You can import the mesh into blender and paint the vertex weights by hand.

Open up the mesh in outfit studio and remove the breast bones. I think. :D

That's what I was guessing - but the one time I tried it, shit crashed... So I have a sneaking suspicion that there's some trick to it... :-/

LaEspada got it correct.

Look for NPC L Breast, NPC L Breast01, NPC R Breast, NPC R Breast01 in the torso/curiass/shirt or what ever it is for the armor in question.  Some older armors will have them as NPC L or NPC R Prebreast as well...

Delete only those bones and export as a nif and save over the original.

Note: Do this for both the 0 and 1 nif files or you'll probably crash skyrim.

Skyrim generates the shape of an armor by taking the 0 as the 0 weight and the 1 as the 100 weight and coming up with something in between to match the npc's and players weight (some npc are set at a weight of 0, some are 25, some are 50, 75, and 100).

So 1 nif having bones and the other not having bones could cause skyrim to crap itself.... just say'n.

And if the armor is TBBP (as in has butt bounce as well) you want to look for the NPC L Butt and NPC R Butt bones, unless you actually want ass jiggle...

Alrighty. I'll give this a whirl tonight!

On a side note - as you people (What do you mean, 'you people'!?) seem to know what you're talking about, anyone know how to manually hide helmets (I know there are mods for this, but I only want to hide the really shitty ones)?

Then go into TES5edit and only remove the ones you don't want.

It's that simple!? Gah - I need to learn how to use CK properly, so I can stop having to ask silly questions...
