sex lab voices automatically advancing

is what it says. even with animations set to NOT automatically advance, voices still do.

 

this started only with the newest version of the framework, and it is the only problem of any kind i have with it. upgrade otherwise went off without a hitch.

It started MANY versions ago.

 

Animation Advance != Voice Advance. 

 

Voice and Expression advancement both isn't based on animation stage, it's based on the characters calculated "enjoyment". And while the enjoyment calculation is heavily influenced by the current animation stage by having the largest share of enjoyment levels, accounting for 40/100 of the enjoyment stat by the final stage of animation. However, that is only 40%, it is also heavily affected by their partners sexual stats and the length of time they have been playing the animation.

 

So if the actors involved in a scene have high sex stats or you leave the animation running for a long time, the voice and/or expression phases will advance quickly. Which is the entire point.

i never saw that before. is there any setting to change the rate or values?

No. Nor do I really consider it that necessary. The voice/expression advancement rates seem like a really minor issue to me, and I'd rather focus on other things when updating the mod. In my personal preference the voice/expressions could just play the exact same stage all the time, every time, and I would hardly notice the difference. This would be insanely easier to program for the framework for me, but there IS a difference only because it amused me to take on the challenge in making it so. 

 

Contrary to that however, I DO plan on adding a customizable sex skills leveling curve option in the next release, letting users customize how much sex xp it takes to level individual skills. This will also indirectly affect the voice/expression advancing.
