Swyke Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 I didn't want to start a new toppic, but I haven't figured out which mod(s) cause the issues I have. So, what have I done? I had planed to play F:NV again and maybe work a little bit on some of my abandoned mods ... After updating Sexout and it's mods to the most recent versions I had to recognize a serious stutter which made the game unplayable after maybe half a hour. I had installed the 'Stutter-Remover' and 'New-Vegas-Anti-Crash' and other performance mods ... (For your information: I never needed them before, most times when a game lost stability or performance I returned to an other savegame and everything was OK.) But none of this mods removed the annoying stutter. So I decided to do it the hard way and removed my whole game folder and made an entire reinstall of the game and all of the mods (using FOMM 0.14.11.10). So here is the first issue, but this is not the reason why I started a new topic!: I have swiched the fertility to nearly maximum, but she wont get pregnant. The pregnancy scanner shows fertility about 150% and a few million(!) semen. PregDebug shows an Ova in the inventory only for a short time ... after waiting for a few hours it is gone. (Fertility cicle is 28days, but fertility in cicle is at 95%). I would have asked this in the pregnancy-thread but ... ... now it seems that the stutter is returning! :( I have been playing for a little while to figure out where the Preg-Issue is hidden (without success), now as further I play the stutter gets even more visible. Even while playing sexout animations the graphic freezes for a part of a second. And at least: Now the game seems to start to CTD more then usual, especialy instead of starting an animation or changeing the location. Oh, I just tried to return to F:NV ... this is so annoying! So, before I start to disable/deinstall mods without a plan, I want to ask you! Maybe someone has/had similiar problems with the game, and maybe you know how to solve them ... well, as written: Stutter-Remover doesn't help. (And if someone knows how I crashed my PregV3, you can tell me, too) Thank you!

So are you saying the Stutter is returning when Pregnancy is not installed? We are suspecting the stuttering is related to usage of UDF's somehow, or possibly referencing Spunk Arrays, SexoutAssualt and Store also seem to relate to the stuttering somehow. I haven't experienced it myself.

No, just myself and Odessa in the Pregnancy beta thread, there have been reports of Stuttering occurring since I started using UFDF's in Pregnancy in 20140628, we are still poking it with a stick at the moment, I can't reproduce the issue myself but Odessa can, you may be quite safe as it doesn't make any sense to me that Store would be related from what I know of Stores workings it doesn't use any UDF's.

I haven't experienced it myself. Well, as I have written, the main reason I startet a new topic was the stutter issue. The 'not geting pregnant' problem was just the reason I was playing the game. For now I was returning to V20140707 (the 'stable' versions) of SCR, Preg and OffSpring. (All other mods remained the most recent versions) My toon got immediately three Ova in the inventory and was pregnant a few moments later. But I will return to the beta-versions for testing and modcreation as soon as I have the stutter issue solved or at least as soon as I have figured out where the problem is. Contrary to my usual installations I had forgotten to install the store, so my stutter issue can't be caused by it. Meanwhile I recognized that some animation stutter could be caused by spunk. The game seems to stop for a second in the moment spunk adds the visual cum. I have never seen this before, so maybe this could be an performance problem of my computer. cecik Posted November 8, 2014 Posted November 8, 2014 Yep, me. Had stutter problems before. For me the problem was solved by disabling Spunk, which doesn't mean that it caused your 'problems'. My machine isn't the most powerful around and running TTW together with Spunk & Preg (stable version) was probably a bit too much too handle. Haven't tried other setups yet to figure out where the problem for me (really) came from.
Halstrom Posted November 8, 2014 Posted November 8, 2014 Not required we can discuss here, fine as it does seem to be a combined performance issue of a few heavy mods, no idea why Store would cause this as I'm pretty sure it does nothing other than at game start. I'm wondering if it's some internal memory stack thingy related to Arrays or UDF's.I can't reproduce the issue myself as I rarely playthough long enough, and I have practically every non-dead Sexout mod installed and running every time, all I can do in Pregnancy is re-shuffle somethings to happen less often or only as required. SCR's got 1/10th of the scripts it used to in the beta release and no UDF's or Arrays, so I can't imagine it to be responsible. No UDF's or Arrays in SexoutOffSpring either. A PC like Odesa's should be ample to run this stuff, I suspect somewhere one of us is unknowingly doing something or a combined interaction issue of some kind or just all pushing the engine hard. I'm wondering with the SexoutStore Formlists, it just occurred to me I think my stuff may be being added into them after Store does it's stuff after the 9sec delay in SCR. But I doubt that would cause any actual issue other than the stuff added not showing. Ahh just looking into FNVEdit errors I see that Store & Soliciting are missing the OffSpring Greeting dialogues I moved from SCR beta into Offspring beta version in some way. Not sure if that's causing some issue. It shouldn't cause stuttering, but I'll look into getting it fixed for whenever Store updates again... which may very well be never.

As the stutter occurred in my old installation I followed mainly gophers video guide (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=plWow9dGI70&index=9&list=PL0E5E8CA384409B11 to get rid of it. ( I never got the Fake-Fullscreen-Mod running ... AFAIK it was a problem with the differnt versions of the mods released since the video was made.)
