So I tried installing CK because I wanted to compile some scripts. I had a corrupted installation of it on Steam so I decided to uninstall it and install it again. I did that only to find out that my Skyrim folder was completely REKT and there was no mods left!!!!!!

I don't even where the fuck did it all go, bin was empty. I tried recovering my system to an earlier point in time but that didn't do jack shit. :( :( :(

This is what was left of my Data folder, just FNIS:

Googled a bit and I wasn't the first one to had this happen but wow, just fucking WOW. Next time I want to play Skyrim (if ever) I'll make sure I use a pirated version so I don't have to bother with this bug ridden piece of shit DRM platform.

That shouldn't happen. I've reinstalled the CK before without issue. Though a better option if you think your install is corrupted is to have steam verify the local files. Just remember to reinstall SKSE afterwards as the CK will overwrite some of the scripts.

Nope, if you unistall the CK it takes everything with it...(some times)

I've done the same, can't remember if it was when I removed it via the control panel or Steam "delete local content"

One could have hoped that this would have been fixed as it was ~2 years I was presented with this nasty surprise...
