The only reason I can think of that this limit is there is if someone would misuse the feature.(why someone would do that is beyond me) Why not have a timer set between votes? I dunno, but this is kind of discouraging.

It's not something I have any control over, the smallest time of measurement the download system allows me to allot for the timer is 1 day. It only provides options of "maximum allowed usage in 24 hours" The only other option would be to remove the timer or increase the allotment. As it stands now the site is costing me a significant chunk of money out of pocket every month to keep online, so I'm not so inclined to increase it as it stands at the moment. Once it becomes feasible I will.

As bad as it might seem to some, but perhaps it's time to implement some user structure like over at "that other place"? I wouldn't have any problem with having my downloads throttled or limited as I'm a ad-block leecher(can't cope with porn ads that good)
