SullyTee Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 EDIT: I now managed to get and upload a ModList instead the slightly inconvienient JPEGS. I have a Problem that brings me to my Wits end. Broken down to the purest that Problem is that whenever i leave Breezehome the game gets into an infinite Loading screen. Now i want to point out that i am not one who easily goes and puts his problems onto other peoples shoulders without trying my own best. I have done a LOT of Research and used many a tool that i didn't knew of before. I have essentially gone from carelessly plopping mods manually into the Skyrim Folder to using a modmanager and a variety of tools and mastersmods reaching from SKSE over BOSS and Loot over FNIS to Tes5EDIT.I have cleaned, patched, rearranged, sorted compatabillity-checked (not really a word i know) and researched whatever i can. I listende to Gopher and other assorted Personalitys of Modding via their YouRube Video etc. I Step by Step dissabled mod by not-that-important-mod (mostly the visual and texture stuff, gameplay is king for me.) to circumvent the RAM Problem, ie. Skrim reaching it's Limit and crashing. I also tried all of this with earlier gamesafes to see if these safefiles are somehow corrupted and if i could avoid the problems by starting from a earlier safefile. My machine shouldn't have a Problem with it.It is a pretty hefty machine with an i5 Ivy Bridge (i think) not to shabby Asus Motherboard a NVIDIA GTX 560 and 8 Gigs of Ram 8wich skyrim couldn't all use anyway.). I also started a completely new game after deciding that if i am gonna mod my game i should do it properly, only adding a few mods after that. However i kinda reaches a point where i am starting to give up on it, wich is really sad because I ACTUALLY played with all these Mods without any Problems before, even leaving and entering Breezehome without Problems many times during several of those hour long crafting-brewing-selling-sessions in Whiterun. A last thing i will try is starting a completely new game but i would of course prefer not to have to do that again. So what i am gonna do is delivering my Load order and Plugin order and all that stuff to the peoples/hiveminds scrutiny to see if the hivemind can give me hints and leads to what i shouzld do, not do, leave out from the things the things i included in it already. i think it can't be getting worse. Again, for me gameplay is king and i don't have any Problems if it isn't the best looking game as long as the gameplaychanges/improvements/enrichment can stay. It just should stop crashing in Whiterun after leaving Breezehome. I also use the ENBS Series but the Problem remained even without it. I have no Problem with people telling when i did something wrong but please assume that i tend to read describtions and installadvices very carefully and also that i am here to learn not to be yelled at. Please? ^.^
Heromaster Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 Do you have changed the skse.ini file? With SKSE 1.7.0+ it should look like this [General] ClearInvalidRegistrations=1 [Display] iTintTextureResolution=2048 [Memory] DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB=768 ScrapHeapSizeMB=256 You could delete the entire [Display] section in the ini if that drops you FPS too much. Also you're missing Cell Stabilizer which could help you against infinite loading screens.
SullyTee Posted October 15, 2014 Author Posted October 15, 2014 I will look into these and report back tommorrow. Thanks.
bradleyh Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 Use LOOT (LOOT is even built into Mod Organiser, the Sort in Plugins), or even BOSS if You like dragging a club when hunting woomins. Open Cities Skyrim requires the Memory Block changes.
gvman3670 Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 I've found that ctrl/alt/del, then cancelling at the windows start screen, will end any long or infinite load screens I've had. It seems to force it through somehow.
SullyTee Posted October 17, 2014 Author Posted October 17, 2014 Thanks for the hints. Couldn't try it yesterday, work work work. X-P Will do it later today and THEN report back.
Sailing Rebel Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 I would highly recommend following the Skyrim Total Enhancement Project Guide to the letter. This will make your game about as stable as it can be barring local system issues or bad mods.

Yeah was thinking about that, However i am a bit iffy because i think that means starting a completely new game? ^-^ Still reading up on stuff. If nothing works and i have to start anew i will do that anyway. Thanks for the advice.
SullyTee Posted October 27, 2014 Author Posted October 27, 2014 Hi, i just wanted to say that, in the End i reinstalled Skyrim and started modding based on the STPE Guide. So far everything went nicely, but now i have encountered another Problem. But i will make it's own topic about that. X-P Just a little Heads up: The S.T.E.P. Guide does not recommend Open Cities Skyrim and i think for a good reason, if you want to extremely mod your Skyrim don't use it. X-P Thanks for the help in this thread.
