nexus mod manager error on start up

okay ive had problems before with nmm and now I have another every time I try to start nmm I get an error and then it gives me a trace log and when I searched through the trace log it gave me this Exception:
                                                                          Message:
                                                                                          The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable.

does anyone know how to fix this ?

Looks like a broken NMM.

and I get the same thing when ever I uninstall and reinstall it im not sure what to do

Not to be crass....but posting over at the Nexus tech support would probably be a good idea. It is their mod manager after all.
