Interior+water= CTD after a while/not on loading or entering..Heelp?

Hi all,

 

 

I have a very strange issue, I tried to find solution on the web, but normally people have problem with entering or loading these areas.

I tried to hunt down the problem, but I cannot find the culprit for weeks now.

I set all water related settings at low and/or disabled in ENB, tried to remove water related mods, and I still get CTD at the following areas:

 

Temple of kynareth

Northern bathouse  mod Morthal

Riften Ragged flagoon cistern

Ustengrav depths (the room with Delphine`s letter.

Discworld (first dungeon Temple (big room with water at the bottom))

 

I just found out what is common in all of them: water in interior areas.

 

I changed the ENB, replaced dungeon textures, replaced water mod and I still crashing to desktop.

First the game stopping, then the screen go black, and white then CTD.

 

This problem not happening always at the same time and sometimes I am fine for even 10 -12 seconds after load. Sometimes it is happening 2-3 sec later.

 

What can cause it?

 

I don`t have CTDs at all anywhere else, the game is smooth and fine I can play for hours. In these areas above however I get CTD in every 5-20 sec..

I know my papyrus is a mess, but I swear I don't have CTDs or any problems  outside those watery, interior areas. Sometimes my script latency is going downhill and some functions getting a bit jittery or stopping for several seconds, but man, with that amount of mods I don't think anybody would get a blank papyrus log anyway.

In the end of the logs you entered an interior and I see a script called fxDustDropRandomSCRIPT.psc appear. It is knows to be buggy.

Dubhorizon, it seems you are a savior...I just ran around for several minutes, and reload the game just to do it again, and it is seems fine. Amazing, you saved me. I really did not think I will have the willpower to go trough all of these mods one by one once more, to find out which is the culprit.

 

I am not sure yet 100%, I need to do some test still...but THANK YOU.

Now I won't get CTD indeed, but there are still errors in papyrus regarding the randomDust script, I don't know what they mean. The other stuff (aaaUCStaggerscript) is from ultimate combat and that doesn't look good either.

 

What is happening? What does it mean using version from save? That doesn't sound well...

No idea what the rest of them are. It was just pure coincidence that I had stumbled upon that fix and as soon as I saw that script in your papyrus, I instantly knew. You will still get the randomdustscript error but it won't cause you to CTD. About the others since they don't cause you any critical problems, you should be ok, but hopefully someone with real knowledge of scripting can tell you more.

Thank you Dubhorizon, you already helped a lot. I still get random CTDs, seem they related to ultimate combat and/or get shelter mod. The CTDs are more random and not that frequent so maybe just some conflict causing it, what I can solve. Also if somebody will have the same problem I have Iomrguland (or similar, it is quite difficult name for a mod) rising mod installed. When I installed the randomdustfx script what Dubhorizon linked the Mod Organizer showed to me that that mod contains randomdustfx script itself which has been overwritten.

So that means that maybe that mod (IR) causing the problem.
