D_ManXX2 Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 Not sure why, but it seem all my systems are well protected but roommate has this tabled that is totally unprotected and is now a security risk for my home network connection. Why is it so difficult to get any info for tabled security like can be done for desktop or laptops ?? Â As you can see i am total noob when it comes too tabled.
Rayblue Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 I call it bullshit unless he has to check the company behind it very carefully, as not all computer "security" companies are legit, or that Apple authorized such companies to produce "utilities' claiming to protect those devices.
Ep1cL3w7z Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 You don't need it. Android and iOS tablets don't really have "viruses" or anything of the sort. They do have apps that could be considered spyware (share the data on your phone/tablet) and apps that spam you with ads or fake warnings, but they can't do any real harm - and they're very easily removed (just uninstall the culprit app).
