iClarke Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 I'm posting this here as well as the Deviously Helpless support thread as I'm not sure which mod is the source of this issue.  So after being released by abusers with arms bound in DH, there's a glitch when you mount your horse. Instead of sitting on the horse, the PC stands and runs on top of and along with the horse when the forward key is pressed. When E is pressed to dismount, all input to the character/horse is lost and the character is basically stuck standing on the horse. You can however open menus/save/exit etc. I've attached screenshots below to illustrate.  I've noticed that with the Armbinder device, the PC would refuse to mount the horse in the first place and this seems like a viable solution that could be also be applied to this particular case with an armcuff.
wulfgear09 Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 Yeah..It is a known problem to mount a horse with the armbinder or cuffs on you will be stuck standing on the horse as you shown in your pic. there is a console command to dismount i don't know what it is but type help in the console gets you a list of all the commands, and i don't even know if that would work.
iClarke Posted October 5, 2014 Author Posted October 5, 2014 But at least with the armbinder, the character won't mount which seems realistic considering you need your hands to mount a horse. The same mechanic should also be applied to cuffs (shown in the screenshots) since your hands are also bound. This would fix the glitch by not having the character mount in the first place.
just_Gina Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 It happens to me when Defeated while mounted and also with Mthralling. It seems any animation that requires the PC to be dismounted will cause this.
