so this is a thing now. hacked together from resources from magicka sabers extended. i've red and yellow done.

 

the way skyrim handles arrows is weird. it doesn;t use the actual projectile until you loose it, the one you see knocked is a weird knock off from the quiver model. so they don't ignite until you fire, which may be good it would be impossible to see around because they are so bright.

 

when you loose them, they make the wunnnnnnnnnnnnnnnggg sound as they fly through the air, like when they are waved around, lolol. they also work as firable torches, they emit the colour light that they are.
