Winter.Bottom Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 Looks like my vampire character has a warpaint on its face, though i didn't choose it. Also, i've never seen that warpaint in vanilla game, and i don't have any custom warpaints mods. I first saw it after reverting to human form. (from a vampire lord form, of course) What's wrong? Is it the hair's fault? (I use apachiiskyhair) Screenshot:
Akzyra Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 Did you use showracemenu after becoming a vampire? As for the unknown warpaint, khajiit and argonians have warpaints too.
Emberheart Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 Can be on the default face texture somehow, a warpaint being applied by going vamp and back, part of whatever puts blood on your lips, mod loading and unloading changing the warpaint settings. That comes to mind at first thought.

Damn, i indeed used the showracemenu, is there some way to fix it now? (I don't think that DVA caused this warpaint, but who knows)
tallbloke55 Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 i think i may have the same problem. i downloaded and installed a racemenu preset. ( Izuela's Margaery Tyrell face) when i press f9 to load the preset, everything is as it should be. when i have changed her hair, eyes, lips and renamed her, i save to preset slot 0. when i go back to the game, none of the changes i made appear except her hair and eyes and she has a spryggan face tattoo! i don't have any face tattoo mods installed. i've never seen anything like this. i will uninstall and reinstall the mods involved just to be sure.

I tried curing myself from vampirism and getting infected again, but instead of warpaint, my character's face is now dirty, though i installed a Clean-Vampire-Face-Something Edit: I found information that says the dirt on vampire's faces may be caused by eyeliner. What?! (people call it 'burnt face glitch')
tallbloke55 Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 i didn't discover where the face tattoo came from. i uninstalled all the mods that affected my character's face and loaded my save game, opened the racemenu and then saved her as a nord female preset 1. exited the game, reinstalled the face mods and the Margaery preset and this time when i pressed f9, BINGO! no face tattoo. i hope this works for you guys too.
