A Bunny Posted September 13, 2014 Posted September 13, 2014 This wasn't here before. I don't know what to do, but ever since it showed up I absolutely cannot seem to get rid of it. I'm using CBBE + SG Renewal Textures, and even after using Texblend (both lite then the full install), I'm getting this slight neck seam. It even appears as if the textures, though similar, are of a different color. What's going on here? I should probably mention this was never here before. It didn't start until recently and... I'm not sure why. It used to be as smooth as butter. Weird, the same seam is on the male textures as well. Does this have something to do with weight or head size?
Alpia Posted September 13, 2014 Posted September 13, 2014 If you really changed nothing did you ever tried it without the clothes on or use some other clothes? I have an example screenshot where a part of the armor is unequipped that would usually cover the seam, well you just use the prison rag, but its worth a try without the prison rag on Also it should't have anything to do with the head size do you have any sliders that alter the neck itself? Or tryd to change the Skincolor?
Dubhorizon Posted September 13, 2014 Posted September 13, 2014 It could either be left over meshes in the overwrite folder (if you are using MO), something that you might have accidentally changed in your ENB that could do that too.
A Bunny Posted September 14, 2014 Author Posted September 14, 2014 Well, I tried everything. Somehow it was even affecting the base game itself (with all mods uninstalled and a clean folder), so I opted to do a fresh reinstall instead. It's fixed, but I can't help but be bothered by whatever was doing that! Thanks for the replies guys.
EdinMG Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 Have you tried one of the methods below, or maybe both... ?!? http://www.loverslab.com/topic/36114-do-it-dirty-fix-that-skyrim-neck-seam http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/46967
A Bunny Posted September 15, 2014 Author Posted September 15, 2014 I don't even know where to start with that. I think it might have something to do with normal maps, because the problem showed up again for no reason. I added nothing after installing body mods, it was working fine, then today I started it up (using CBBE still) and it's there now. No idea what's doing it, but I feel like it might be because of Sexlab or something.
A Bunny Posted September 15, 2014 Author Posted September 15, 2014 So, someone told me it might be a mod that's altering NPCs using Apachii Hair, but I don't see how that would effect the Player-Character. I'm clueless.
A Bunny Posted September 15, 2014 Author Posted September 15, 2014 Okay well, I've found a semi-fix for this... Changing "FixTintGamma=true" to "FixTintGamma=false" in my enblocal.ini has actually made it to where you can't see the neckseam unless you're really looking for it. I'm hoping this is how it's supposed to be? No more weird color mismatch. Not sure what "FixTintGamma" does on a base level, but I haven't seen any noticeable effects (detrimental or otherwise) to my game. So... Yay? I hope this fix helps someone else too.
...0... Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Some body replacer also can cause neckseam not doing about it. When body skin text replacer offers head-body and hands it cover whole body with same texture most of time these days you won't have neckseams. But some still have for example real girls skin textures doing a good job these days its up to date also Matureskin and fairskin complexion are up to date and doing good job. When i use a freckels mod or some body tattoo mod most of time shat give a neckseam. Some mods offer all for same body type they are best showing no neckseam. Fairskin complexion 7.4.1 Still in some light source you see little neckseam this screen looks terible fix gamma or not i can't fix it. Brighter light you don't see it.
