Thisdoesntwork Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 I just downloaded the mod and everything else it might require and so far it has been working just fine. But if the enemy bandits manage to beat me down and trigger the robbing event, i lose some items and gold but the animation gets stuck at the kneeling bandit ( it keeps playing the "warming hands over fire " animation ) I tried waiting for 5 minutes and almost died cause of frosfall's hypotermia. is it supposed to take really long time ? Also do i need to get Death Alternative for it to work ?
Soaryne Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 Yes death Alternative is one of the mod you need to install in order for Defeat to work. for you install it you go into the MCM menu for defeat and choose start mod to enable it. I also would subject installing Devious Capture and setting defeat option for high change for an inn or wildness event so and high rob change so you character get devious items put on then then they are robbed.

I don't use it and has no issue for Defeat without DA. @Thisdoesntwork Have you run generateFNISforuser? Is there any warning/error when you ran it? You may try to open Defeat MCM and clean it, open Sexlab MCM and reset animation registry.
wulfgear09 Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 Yeah ,no death alternative is required for Defeat to work .I would run boss/loot w/e you use and and run the fnis as TnTTnT stated. frost fall and defeat can as i call it script collide especially with DA and SD running as well,but then i don't have the best comp in the world.Still 5 minute waits means something is wrong with either load order or dependencies do you have a high end computer . if not you may need to cut down the amount of script dependent mods you use. posting a installed mods log for people to look at also may get better feed back as the whole." it don't work help me" thing with no info to examine kinda gets a large amount of shrugs.

First of all sorry :/ This is my first time ever posting here, asking for help and just recently ( as in like a week ago ) i got skyrim and tried to get some mods for it. I guess i need to do some googling as i have no clue what boss / loot might be I ran TES5edit and it went through so i think my load order might be correct. I didnt do anything else with it though as i have no clue what to do and dont want to break my game. My pc aint really high end but i run skyrim with ultra high and it runs smoothly. Where could i get said mod log ? I have FNIS and it showed no errors. Thank you people for taking the time to try and help me !
wulfgear09 Posted September 13, 2014 Posted September 13, 2014 Sorry if i came off sounding like a scolding ,was just relaying info I have learned here first hand. Boss and Loot are mod loading tools that check out dependencies and put stuff in the right order(sometimes) your mod log is the list of mods you use. i am most likely using the wrong term for it. I would also try running Skyrim on high instead of ultra high as i have seen there really isn't much difference if you don't have (oh i hate to use this word) Uber graphics.this may give a little better performance for the scripts,a few points here and there helps a lot to keep the fps down.
Sharess Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 I'm having trouble with Defeat too, after I get "killed" I get stuck in the beaten position, and the enemies all just walk away and ignore me and the game is stuck like that. I got to the point where I removed all of my mods and then just reinstalled the following ones, and yes I have run Generate FINS for users. I still can't get it to work, they just lose track of me once I'm down.... Load Order... 1 Skyrim 2 Update 3 Hearth Fires 4 ApachiiHair 5 SexLab 6 ZaZAnimationPack 7 SexLabAroused 8 SexLab Aroused Creature 9 SkyUI 10 FNISSpells 11 SexLabDefeat 12 MoreNastyCritters 13 SexLabNudeCreatures

The latest SKSE is 1.7.1 but it was never an Alpha. Are you running 1.7.1 released or 1.7.0 Alpha? I suspect you added "alpha" by mistake but it's best to be sure.

Oh, I thought I read it was somewhere. When I do a properties on it, it says version 0.1.7.1 and I downloaded it about 3 days ago, so I'm assuming it's the right one? I updated all of my files to the newest as far as I could tell. Okay, checked the readme, and yes that is version 1.7.1, also my Skyrim version seems correct in that it's v 1.9.32.0 which is what the SKSE says it supports.

kaliiz Posted September 21, 2014 Posted September 21, 2014 Hi there, i'm not sure if you have fixed this problem, but the animation you are talking about (the hand warming) actually comes from Frostfall, you need to turn off these animations in the Fostfall options menu, these animations seem to override the ones from Defeat/SexLab. Also if you are using Frostfall I would recommend using the SexLab Warmbodies add-on which you can find here http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/514-sexlab-warmbodies-frostfall-plugin/, hope this helps! Velexia Ombra Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 I had the exact same issue, I installed Death Alternative and Fus Ro Doh (Death Alternative lists it as a required file), and now it works just fine. So install those two mods and you should be good to go.
