Creating your own follower help

i have been following the tutorial to  create your own custome character. i followed it step by step but when in the game the character does not have the hair and facial changes i made. i am using a custome race name the Elves of Azure. any help would be great thanks

Did you set the Elves of Azure and hair mod you're using as required masters for the follower .esp?

no i did not ande i am not sure how to do that

When you open Creation Kit to make the .esp that will be your new follower you should see a window that asks you to choose your Master Files, the ones your mod will require to work. It should look something like this, though don't choose these particular selections. It's just a sample image.

 

 

 

 

When that window comes up make sure that Elves of Azure and your hair mod (e.g. ApachiiSkyHairs) are both checked off or they won't be displayed onto your follower when you create him or her. After that just follow the steps in whichever tutorial you were using.

i tried that. selecting the skyrim and updates, the apachihair and the elves of azure and it tells me i have multiple master files tro load load aborted.
