Wierd CTD problem

Hello, this morning I have started having a weird new CTD. It occurs when I go northwest from Movarth's Lair towards solitude, and after going into the marsh it crashes. I have never heard of a CTD like this. So any idea why or any idea how to fix this?


PS: Three steps from the place shown on the map will cause it to CTD.

I just found a bobbydoggle's solution that night help you too:

 

Quick update, I fixed my own issue, but by simply entering the console and typing: "setstage MS14 120" without the quotes. This basically completes the Qwest without having to enter the cave. Seems isolated so I won't worry about that qwest. For more details on this console trick see the bottom of: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Laid_to_Rest

Well, then I would suggest you to try this anyway, or to load some earlier save, do "player.kill" and save the game in the new slot. You see, I had a problem with CTDs when exiting the Graywinter Watch cave. Whenever I will move few steps, the game crushed. Then I simply typed this into console and it solved the problem, as it solved the problem with freezings whne fast travel to Mistveil keep in Riften.

Are you running a mod that changes or add something only in Solitude (or in the surroundings) ? Textures, meshes, NPCs...

Thanx I think this worked I have crossed the CTD zone and now well on my way to meridias temple :)

Right, apparently nothing Solitude-related. Seems like Germanicus help solved the case - I wasn't aware of that player.kill trick, nice!  :)
